  • This year marked the five-year anniversaries of Warriors of Stone, Stone Cold, and Destiny of Doom. For the exact dates, see 2013.
  • This is the only year since 2010 in which The Fold has not released new songs for Ninjago.
  • This year produced all canon Ninjago TV installments within the WILFilm ApS era in some format. Ninjago: Decoded contained clips of everything from the pilot episodes up to The Hands of Time. Sons of Garmadon, Hunted and Tales from the Monastery of Spinjitzu were released through the year, and the teaser trailer for March of the Oni was released in December of 2018.
