Trivia[]
- Nya's Samurai X suit in this set is the same one she wore for her set in the previous season, 70750 Ninja DB X. The only difference is that she has black shoulder pads instead of dark silverish-gray ones, and it contains two silver swords in the place of the previous two black ones.
- In 70731 Jay Walker One and 70738 Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty, Bansha's minifigure has a ghost "tail." In this set, she has legs, making this version of her "exclusive" to this set.
- This is the cheapest way to get Deepstone Zane.
- The Samurai Mech's overall design in this set is very similar to the mech Lord Garmadon used near the end of Legacy of the Green Ninja.
- This is the first Ninjago set to feature two mechs.
- The set includes Zane's first mech.
- Jay's nunchucks look similar to the Obsidian Nunchucks from Shadow of Ronin. However, the colors of the chain and the handles are reversed.
