Designer's notes[]
A very fun mech with a function, ends up being a really fun build with a function and a nice pricepoint hehe. This is my second mech in the Ninjago theme after Cole's, because of this I really wanted the two to look good next to eachother, and also to scale with Kai's older mech.[2]
Trivia[]
- Chope is exclusive to this set. He was set to appear in 70756 Dojo Showdown, but somewhere along the set's production, he was swapped out for Sleven.
- This is Jay's first Mech.
- Despite Jay wearing his Jungle robes when he uses the mech in "Spellbound", his minifigure uses the Tournament robes instead.
- While LEGO sets often include extra studs for stud shooters, this set doesn't have extra ammunition.
- This is the seventh Mech in the series.
