- The Crystal King's centaur form differs in several ways from his TV show appearance:
- The set has two large and two small crystal shards/wings branching off his shoulders, but in the show he has four large wings.
- The set depicts the centaur form as a mech that the Crystal King pilots from its chest cavity, whereas in the show it serves as the Crystal King's final form, and the chest cavity is sealed with a large crystal.
- Harumi's hairpiece was slightly changed for this set. It had previously been made of flexible plastic, but now it is hard plastic.
- This is Harumi's fifth overall set appearance, and it continues the tradition of her often appearing alongside Lloyd.
- This is the fourth set to include both the minifigure of the character, and the form they become.
- The first set was 71713 Empire Dragon with Unagami, the second was 71742 Overlord Dragon with the Overlord, and 71754 Water Dragon with Nya.
