Trivia[]
- This is the fourth set of the line of Ninjago City modular buildings that can be combined to create a greater cityscape. The others are 70620 Ninjago City and 70657 Ninjago City Docks from The LEGO Ninjago Movie, 71741 Ninjago City Gardens from Ninjago: Legacy, and 71837 Ninjago City Workshops also from Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
- The set includes many exclusive, previously unreleased characters from throughout Ninjago’s run, including some that fans desired for many years:
- Gayle Gossip and Vinny Folson, who made their debuts in Legacy of the Green Ninja.
- Blazey H. Speed, a.k.a. "Racer Seven", who made her debut in Prime Empire. Racer Seven wears a BIONICLE shirt featuring a flaming Kanohi Hau - making her appearance strikingly different from the show.
- Miss Demeanor, who made her debut in Seabound.
- Hounddog McBrag, who made his debut in Crystalized.
- Chamille, who made her debut in Tournament of Elements. With the release of Chamille, all twelve new Elemental Masters who competed in the Tournament of Elements now have minifigures - a process that began in 2015.
- While this set's inclusion of Chamille finally completes the release of all the aforementioned Elemental Masters, two 2024 sets - 71814 Tournament Temple City and 71818 Tournament Battle Arena - include Mr. Pale and Tox, respectively. The two were originally released via Ultra Agents sets in 2015, but now have receive updated releases in Ninjago sets for the first time.
- However, the majority of the minifigures have features that are inaccurate to the show.
- Additionally, there are new minifigures of characters in various outfits that were previously unreleased:
- Blacksmith Kai, loosely based on his appearance from the pilot episodes and March of the Oni. The minifigure is entirely comprised of preexisting parts.
- Bartender Dareth, who wore this suit in Sons of Garmadon and Prime Empire.
- Detective Zane, from Prime Empire ("Ninjago Confidential"). Featuring a new titanium head piece that has Zane smiling, in contrast to his angry face in many other sets.
- Cyrus Borg, who made his debut in Rebooted. Borg previously appeared in 70722 OverBorg Attack in 2013, in which he was corrupted by The Overlord, but his figure was totally different from his appearances in the vast majority of the show.
- Every minifigure, with the exception of Lloyd and Nya, are exclusive to this set, although several are made of reused parts from existing LEGO sets.
- Miss Demeanor is exclusive in regions where the Ninjago Magazine is not sold.
- Sora has the same hairpiece she had when she was a child in a flashback in "Return to Imperium."
- She also shares this same hairpiece with Mei from Monkie Kid.
- Much like the previous Ninjago City sets, this set features numerous references to other LEGO themes.
- Posters for Monster Fighters and Pirates are featured.
- A poster for a missing sheep includes what is likely a discontinued goat figure (95341pb01) which only appeared in 7189 Mill Village Raid.
