- This is one of three ways to get the rare "Detective Zane" head, the others being in the 71799 Ninjago City Markets and 71837 Ninjago City Workshops.
- Curiously, Nya doesn't use the new double-sided face introduced with Dragons Rising, as 71809 Egalt the Master Dragon also provided a headband-hairpiece for her that could be completely covered.
- This set is also includes Baby Riyu, although he grew up in Season 2.
