- This is the first set to introduce Zarkt's minifigure.
- The spinner included is the same as Ras' in 71826 Dragon Spinjitzu Battle Pack and is meant to represent Shatterspin.[2]

- The dragon's chest can fire darts, similar to 71711 Jay's Cyber Dragon.
- Drix's armor is black in this set as opposed to the gun-metal grey color he has in 71827 Zane's Battle Suit Mech.
