The others are 70620 Ninjago City and 70657 Ninjago City Docks from The LEGO Ninjago Movie, 71741 Ninjago City Gardens from Ninjago: Legacy, and 71799 Ninjago City Markets also from Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
- The set includes previously unreleased minifigures from various eras of the Ninjago series:
- Casual Harumi, from 2018's Sons of Garmadon.
- Twitchy Tim, from 2021's The Island.
- Dr. LaRow, from 2023's Dragons Rising, Season 1.
- Dorama, from throughout Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
- Much like the previous "Ninjago City" sets, this set includes many references to Ninjago and other LEGO themes;
- The Upply, the Skull Sorcerer, Grief-Bringer, and the Re-Awakened appear on the poster with the title "Dungeon of Shintaro."
- Dr. Julien appears in a picture. As one of Ninjago's earliest supporting characters, he never received an official minifigure, making this his first official appearance of sorts in a set.
- Zane and the Falcon appear in a picture.
- Lava-Tony and the Roto Jet appear on two of the advertisements.
- Old LEGO themes are referenced on posters, including Ninja from 1998 and Fabuland from 1979.
- Chris "Doc" Wyatt once jokingly suggested that Ras might come from Fabuland.[2]
- Other posters reference 71741 Ninjago City Gardens and the Destiny's Bounty from 71797 Destiny's Bounty - race against time.
- Boxes in the Model Shop Owner's room include various Titan Mechs from Ninjago's history, including Nya's original Samurai Mech from 9448 Samurai Mech, Lloyd's Titan Mech from 70676 Lloyd's Titan Mech, Cole's Elemental Earth Mech from 71821 Cole's Titan Dragon Mech, Jay's Titan Mech from 71785 Jay's Titan Mech, and Zane's Ice Mech from 71738 Zane's Titan Mech Battle.
