The algae farmers are farmers from a realm parallel to Ninjago.
History[]
Background[]
The algae farmers were known for their tranquil way of life in their village. However, after the Merge, they found themselves encountering various inhabitants from different realms. Among these encounters was a gang of Merlopians. Controlled by the crab monster, the ocean gang launched an attack on the algae farmers. Overwhelmed by the aggression, the farmers were forced to retreat to a small section of their village, while the ocean gang and the crab monster seized control of the remaining areas.

At some point, several Algae farmers asked Fedulian for the maps of the Merged Realms, not knowing that the maps were fake, Dorama managed to ensnare several algae farmers turning them into captives of Dorama's Academy for Acting.
Dragons Rising, Season 2[]
To Mysterium[]
Some Algae farmers were held captive by Dorama at his Acting Academy. Later on they were freed by the joint efforts of Cole, Zane and Bonzle. Later on they helped transport Dorama to the authorities.
