The Arc Dragon of Focus is a two-headed Arc Dragon, revered as the champion of the Source Dragons. It possesses the powers of Focus, acting as a mortal representation of the Source Dragon of Focus. After the Battle of the City of Temples against Thunderfang, the Arc Dragon was divided and fell into a deep slumber in Mysterium and Djinjago. In light of the Spectral invasions led by Thunderfang, the ninja planned to awaken the Arc Dragon of Focus in hopes of defeating the Chaos Dragon once and for all.

History

Background

When Thunderfang launched an assault on the City of Temples, the Arc Dragon of Focus was released by the Council of the Source Dragons as the mortal avatar of the Source Dragon of Focus to confront the Shatter Dragon. They appeared in the skies of the First Realm and faced Thunderang. Using their Focus powers, which inherently countered the chaotic abilities of Thunderfang, the Arc Dragon engaged in a fierce battle. To defeat Thunderfang, the Arc Dragon unleashed a powerful beam of dragon energy, striking the Shatter Dragon with such force that it sent him plummeting from the City of Temples into the depths of the Realm of Oni and Dragons. Then, the Arc Dragon of Focus split into two halves, which were put into slumber in the Cave of Bells in Mysterium and the Cave of Tones in Djinjago.

Due to the destruction of the Cursed Realm causing also the destruction of Djinjago, its sister realm, the half of the Arc Dragon of Focus resting there perished alongside the realm and its inhabitants. However, the return of Djinjago and its regrowth may have caused the temple where the half of the Arc Dragon of Focus is resting to return as well, along with it.

While reading The Sagas of the Eternal Sources to look for the Prismatic Blades, Kai and Nya saw an image to the Arc Dragon of Focus battling Thunderfang.

The Shatter Dragon

During his fight with the ninja, Thunderfang mentioned the Arc Dragon of Focus, asserting that the ninja stood no chance against him, unlike the way the Arc Dragon of Focus had once bested him.

Trivia

• They are the first Arc Dragon who is not named after the location or species of their tribe.
  • Their name includes a concept of one of the Source Dragons, that being the Source Dragon of Focus.
    • The reason for this is later explained as the Arc Dragon of Focus is the mortal avatar of the Source Dragon of Focus.
• In the sets, they have saddles on both of their necks, a detail which is absent in the show.
• They are one of the few dragons of the franchise to have more than one head, the others being the Ultra Dragon, the Fusion Dragon, and the Golden Ultra Dragon. Additionally, they are the first multi-headed dragon after the Ultra Dragon that isn't an Elemental Dragon.
• According to Chris "Doc" Wyatt, they don't possess either Ice or Lightning.
• The Arc Dragon of Focus is not the strongest Arc Dragon.
• In the Finnish dub, they're referred to as a Source Dragon even though they aren't.
  • Technically, the Finnish dub is to some extent not incorrect, as the Arc Dragon of Focus is considered to be the mortal avatar of the Source Dragon of Focus.
