Astro Plants are a type of plant found in the Ninjago Sky. They are apparently capable of surviving in the highest reaches of the atmosphere, subsisting on nothing but solar wind. They are said to twinkle like stars, possibly due to luminescent spores/dust being shed from their bulbs.
