The BRTM-12 is a subway train that was discontinued 50 years ago.
History[]
Prior to Crystalized[]
The BRTM-12 was one of Ninjago's first subway trains, which started a revolution which formed Ninjago City's old subway system.[1]
The Spider's Design[]
Jay, Kai, Cole and Zane stumble upon an abandoned BRTM-12. Kai calls it "rusted piece of junk" and then Jay corrects him telling him the real name of the train and recapping its history. Kai assumed that Jay collected toy trains when he was a kid but Jay then reveals he used to collect "model" trains.
When Harumi sent multiple Crystal Spiders to self-destruct on the Ninja, Kai, Cole, Jay and Zane reached the BRTM-12 for shelter and end up trapped in it as the tunnel caved in.
The Fall of the Monastery[]
Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane continue to shelter in the BRTM-12. However, it eventually begins to become unstable, and they attempt to contact Wu, Nya, Skylor and P.I.X.A.L. for help. When they are able to contact them for help later on, they find an escape hatch which they use as an exit as the BRTM-12 begins to collapse.
Darkness Within[]
As the ninja shelter beneath the BRTM-12 on the rails, they discover a rat and follow it hoping to find another exit.
