The battle for Shintaro Mountain[1] is an event in which Vangelis attempts to kill the ninja while Cole and the Upply prevents Vangelis from taking complete control of the Dungeons of Shintaro.
History[]
Prelude[]
While the Geckles and Munce continued to mine Vengestone, the Skull Sorcerer tells the ninja that he plans to execute them by using Grief-Bringer in front of the Geckles and the Munce. When Lloyd told the Skull Sorcerer about Cole, the latter reveals himself to be Vangelis and that he sent Cole and Wu to Rock-Bottom after finding out his true intentions. Meanwhile, after two Re-Awakened showed the Blades of Deliverance when Vangelis revealed that he did steal them from the Geckles and Munce, they put them to a vault but were stopped by Cole and Plundar.[2]
End of the Re-Awakened[]
Vangelis gives a speech to the Geckles and the Munce about what would happen to anyone opposing him before telling the Awakened Warrior to free Grief-Bringer. However, Cole interrupts and uses the Blades of Deliverance to fight Vangelis and Hazza D'ur while the Upply freed the ninja, Geckles, and Munce to fight the Awakened Warriors and Grief-Bringer.[2] However, the Awakened Warriors and Grief-Bringer overpowered the ninja, Upply, Geckles, and Munce while Vangelis and Hazza D'ur tell Cole that Lilly lied about the Ivory and Shadow Blades of Deliverance being magical. Just as Vangelis prepares to kill Cole after destroying the blades, he and Cole notice Wu, Vania, and the Army of Shintaro arriving to help the former's enemies. When Cole realized that it wasn't the Blades of Deliverance that defeated Grief-Bringer but the Spinjitzu Burst, he uses it to destroy the Skull of Hazza D'ur, turning the Awakened Warriors and Grief-Bringer back to bones and Vangelis to his original form. When Vangelis begged for forgiveness, Cole tells him to say it to everyone he enslaved and abused while Vania ordered Hailmar to arrest him.[3]
Aftermath[]
After Vania becomes queen of Shintaro, the ninja bid farewell to the people they met during their time in Shintaro Mountain and went off on another adventure.[3]
