“You see, the bears are extremely protective of Glimwillow Woods. It is their home after all.”

Bears are a species of land animals that live in Glimwillow Woods and Chima.

History[]

Curseworld, Part II[]

Bladvic and his friends were enjoying a relaxing day before being interrupted by Morro and Lloyd, who fell into the area from a portal. He then glanced the others before Morro opened another portal, with both him and Lloyd falling in.

Garmadon[]

At some point in time, tensions grew between the Bears of Glimwillow Woods and the villagers of Two Moon Village due to the latter group's increased harvesting of the Glimwillow Lily, which the bears fed on. After the Oni's invasion, the elders of Two Moon Village, Renzo and Kenzo, employed the services of the Red Crows in order to protect them from the bears. Unfortunately, the biker gang offered very little, if any, protection at all while demanding exorbitant amounts of the village's namesake Two Moon Tea in exchange, forcing the villagers to increase their harvest of the lilies in order to meet the gang's demands.

One evening, a bear encountered a woman and her daughter gathering lilies, resulting in a tense confrontation before the bear was blasted away by a stranger. The stranger, who had since introduced himself as Garmadon, returned with the villagers where the elders requested his help to defeat Kuma, the Guardian of Glimwillow Woods and the mother of the Bears of Glimwillow Woods. The next evening, Garmadon, alongside the Two Moon Village Commandos and Min, ventured to Kuma's lair where they defeated and buried Kuma beneath a mountain of rubble.

Some time later, the remaining bears were driven from the Glimwillow Woods by the Red Crows, who declared the Woods to be their first step in their conquest of Ninjago. These bears then encountered Garmadon again, allying with him and the Two Moon Villagers to free Kuma and liberate Two Moon Village from the Red Crows.
