Shintaro Revisited![]
Some time after defeating the Crystal King, Lloyd trains in the not fully rebuilt Spinjitzu Monastery. Jay mentions that since he lost his powers, he only feels like half a ninja. Cole suggests going to the library inside the monastery and reading the Quanish scrolls. The ninja read various scrolls, Cole reads that Quanish was involved in various mystical quests, numerology and star reading, and even discovered how to turn gold into lead and even calculated when pigs would start flying. Cole suddenly finds information about elemental powers "At the risk of my life, I learned that elemental powers can materialize under certain conditions. For example: As the lava cools while releasing the elemental powers, it hardens into a Chronosteel that contains this power. When three pieces of Chronosteel coming from from various places, elemental power is released and can be used again."
The ninja decide that this is a great job for them and that thanks to it they can regain their powers. Suddenly, Nya enters the library and announces that the ninja have a guest. The guest turns out to be Hailmar with Shintaro's army. Hailmar asks if the ninja would be so kind as to visit Shintaro Mountain that while they were helping fight the Crystal King, the Dire Bats had spread. The ninja go to the pearl and fly to Shintaro. While flying, they are attacked by bats, the ninja tell Hailmar and his army to take care of them, and they go to investigate the cave where the Bats nest. The ninja find sleeping bats and a small tunnel in the cave. Lloyd uses Energy to make more holes in the cave and Nya uses water to drive the bats out of the cave. The bats go straight to Hailmar's army, and the ninja swim deeper into the mountain. They come across a stone turtle that leaves. The ninja enter another tunnel, covered with moss, where they find a piece of Chronosteel. The ninja manage to emerge from the underground, and Hailmar thanks them for their help and allows the ninja to take the piece of chronosteel.

Trivia[]
- This comic takes place shortly after the events of Crystalized
- The comic in this magazine is part 1 of the "Quanish Chronicles" trilogy
- The Vangelis figure variant included in this issue oddly does not include his face expression, making the variant exclusive but without any new exclusive pieces.
- The Destiny's Bounty returns in this issue, implying that it was rebuilt.
- When Hailmar and the other members of the Army of Shintaro arrive at the monastery, they are accompanied by a Sky Folk in a purple robe, though he was never explained who he was nor he never said a single word.
- A fact file on Ulysses Trustable implies that he resigned as mayor after the Crystal King’s attack.
- The events of Order Must Prevail! are mentioned.
Errors[]
- The comic, along with the rest of the "Quanish Chronicles" trilogy features the ninja going on multiple missions, even if according to Quest for the Lost Powers, the ninja (specifically Cole, Jay, Kai and Zane) dissappeared from the public shortly after losing their Elemental Powers.
- Nya does not have any armour for some reason. However, in two panels, she's shown with both the shoulder pad used by the ninja, and the Legacy Skulkin armour.
- Nya, in one panel, appears twice.
- During one of the comic's slides, Kai's hair is flipped, showcasing his bandage on the wrong side.
- Lloyd is shown in his Golden Armour but with a green coloured mask part unlike the show version, which used black.
- The Destiny’s Bounty is in the movie variant for two panels in the beginning, then it switches to the Legacy variant for the rest of the comic.
- All of the Shintaro Guards are identical to Hailmar.
