The Billy Badlands is a desert region of the Dark Island.
History
Dark Island Trilogy
After the Destiny's Bounty 2.0 was caught in a storm off the coast of the island, Kai ended up stranded in the Billy Badlands. He was eventually captured by members of the Sky Pirates but rescued by Cole, and the pair then used newly acquired vehicles—the Rock Roader and a future component of the Ultra Stealth Raider—to track down a convoy carrying Dark Matter to the Temple of Light. During their journey, the desert terrain shifted drastically in response to the Dark Matter, and they and the other Ninja were nearly buried when Clouse unleashed a sandstorm upon them during an ensuing battle.
