Blazing Battle! is the 55th issue of the Ninjago Magazine.
Hot in the City[]
After escaping their chains, the Ninja began to search for a way out of Aspheera's Pyramid. As they journeyed through, avoiding the many traps, Kai continued to complain about his loss of his power over Fire.
Meanwhile, Nelson and Antonia were riding their bikes across Ninjago City to deliver the papers while the Pyro Vipers rampaged across the city streets. After arriving at the newspaper warehouse, the teenagers were informed that all the papers had been locked in storage and the warehouse's sprinkler systems were set to maximum power due to the threat posed by the Pyro Vipers. The warehouse manager then tossed the storage keys to Antonia, remarking that if they could help themselves if they wanted newspapers as he was not going to stay around. At that moment however, the teenagers could see that the blaze of the Pyro Vipers was growing ever closer. In desperation, Nelson grabbed the wall mounted phone and attempted to call the Ninjago City Police Station, but to no avail. Meanwhile, at the Monastery of Spinjitzu, P.I.X.A.L. intercepted Nelson's call and sped over to assist in the ShuriCopter, briefly fighting against Aspheera and Fire Fang in the process. Although P.I.X.A.L. was unable to defeat the massive Elemental Cobra, she was able to lead Aspheera and her forces away from the warehouse, allowing her to land the shuricopter onto the roof to rescue Antonia and Nelson. However, now that the danger had passed, the teenagers decided instead to continue with their jobs; after all, the news never sleeps! With that, P.I.X.A.L. wished the two good luck as she returned to the monastery to repair the shuricopter.

Trivia[]
- This comic is set sometime during The News Never Sleeps!, as it makes reference to P.I.X.A.L.'s Samurai Mech being damaged in battle against the Elemental Cobras.
- The interior of Aspheera's pyramid seems to take inspiration from M.C. Escher's lithograph "Relativity."
