The blue Prismatic Blade is one of the five Prismatic Blades.
It shared a similar design to the other four Prismatic Blades, but the ninja added a tracker on the hilt, which was a mechanical, angular guard with cat ear-like extensions and a central cyan light. This allowed the Ninja to find the Returning Blade, which was in Ras' hands. After Thunderfang's release, the tracker was removed due to it being crushed under the prison.
After Thunderfang's defeat, the blue Prismatic Blade, along with the other three blades were sent to the Land of Lost Things.
History[]
Background[]
The blue Prismatic Blade was forged as one of five Prismatic Weapons, each crafted to sever the chains that held Thunderfang captive. Specifically, the blue blade was intended to free Thunderfang's left leg from its binding. However, as millennia passed, the blue Prismatic Blade was discovered and inexplicably concealed within Dorama's puppet, which granted the puppet a semblance of life. The puppet terrorized a small village in the wastelands for a period of time and fought against many warriors.
The Missing[]
Dorama's puppet eventually encountered Lloyd, Sora, Frak, and Riyu in a small neighborhood, where they managed to get the blade out of the puppet. When Frak handed it to Zane, he scan the sword and detected it had immense energy which might be how it empowered the marionette, so Lloyd opted to keep the sword with them since it is too dangerous to leave sitting out in the First Land.
The Great Zane Robbery[]
Frak was carrying the blue blade while searching for Arin.
When Zane was in the prison train fighting Nokt, he recognized the Red Prismatic Blade and realized it was a similar blade to the one he previously encountered.
I Alone Can Save Them[]
Frak continued to carry the blade as he and the rest of his group journeyed onwards in search of Arin. Eventually, they encountered Zarkt and several Dragonian Warriors and realized that they were searching for the blade. When Frak unsheathed the blade to show to his allies, Tyr sensed its presence and alerted Zarkt to the Ninja's location. Lloyd then used the blade in combat against Zarkt, successfully driving him and his forces away once Zanth arrived with P.I.X.A.L. and an upgraded Zane.
Fallen Wishes[]
Lloyd and the ninja were deep in discussion about the potential use of the blue Prismatic Blade when a sudden call from Arrakore interrupted them. He summoned Sora and Riyu to Djinjago, where they were needed to protect him from Rox, who demanded that Arrakore repair the yellow Prismatic Blade. Upon their return, Sora shared information with the group, explaining the significance of the blue blade and revealing that it was one of the last two remaining Prismatic Blades the Forbidden Five needed.
Their Draconic Majesty's Request[]
Upon returning to the dragon stables, Kai proposed that they should destroy the blue Prismatic Blade to keep it out of the Forbidden Five's reach. Lloyd attempted to shatter the blade by striking it forcefully, while Kai tried to melt it using his Fire powers, but neither effort proved successful. The ninjas speculated that the blades might only be breakable under specific conditions. To track the fifth blade, Zane and P.I.X.A.L. affixed a tracker to the hilt of the blue Prismatic Blade, which ultimately led them to the World Forest, where they encountered Ras and Arin.
Crashing Together[]
Using the blue Prismatic Blade, Zane discovered that Arin and Ras possessed the final Prismatic Blade, known as the Returning Blade. However, Drix soon arrived to seize both blades. Despite Nya's warning to Lloyd to flee with the blue Prismatic Blade, he chose to confront Drix instead. In the ensuing battle, Drix gained the advantage and ultimately escaped with both the blue Prismatic Blade and the Returning Blade.
Chaos Unchained[]
Drix carried the blue Prismatic Blade as he journeyed to Thunderfang's prison in the First Land. As Drix was ambushed by the Ninja, he lost the Blue Prismatic Blade after having one of his arms severed by Lloyd. The Green Ninja later used the Blue Prismatic Blade to battle Rox, but lost the blade when she hit him with a Shatterspin blow while he was using Rising Dragon. The blade was caught by Kur but she lost it after being hit by Nya's water blast, but Tyr grabbed it before Zane tackled him, then Frak grabbed it before being taken down by two Dragonian Trackers before Riyu grabbed it. Although Drix spotted Riyu taking the blue Prismatic Blade and dispersed into a swarm of insects to assault him. Eventually, the blade made its way into Arin's possession and he briefly attempted to wield it against Nokt, but was relieved of it and the Returning Blade by Rox. As the Five retreated to Thunderfang's prison, Zarkt used the blue blade to cut its corresponding chain while Drix hurled the Returning Blade to shatter the final chain around the Shatter Dragon's neck. The blue blade would end up becoming discarded however after Thunderfang consumed the Five's souls, dropping to the ground from Zarkt's limp hands.
Spectral invasions[]
After the confrontation with Thunderfang, the remaining Prismatic Blades, including the blue one, were lost and ultimately forgotten, finding their way to the Land of Lost Things. There, they were uncovered by Fritz and Spitz. As the Dragonian Warriors from the Spectral Lands began to steal souls to aid Thunderfang in his transformation into a Source Dragon, Percival had the Advanced Systems Lab enhance two of the four blades for Kai and Frak. This enhancement allowed them to effectively wield the Prismatic Blades against the spectral Dragonian Warriors, ensuring their destruction. However, it remains uncertain whether the blue Prismatic Blade was among those upgraded.

Trivia[]
- The blue Prismatic Blade stands out as one of the three Prismatic Blades with a distinctive design, alongside the Returning Blade, which is shorter in length, and the yellow Prismatic Blade, which was originally a different type of sword before being reforged. What sets the blue Prismatic Blade apart is that it was later affixed with a tracker, rather than simply differing in appearance like the other two blades.
- The blue Prismatic Blade was the first Prismatic Blade to be fully introduced in the series. Although the green and yellow Prismatic Blades made earlier appearances in some manner, they were not initially revealed to be Prismatic Blades while the blue one was.
