Cecil Putnam is an archaeologist and leader of the Explorers Club.
History
Boobytraps and How to Survive Them
Cecil personally calls Clutch Powers, telling him that his membership has been revoked because he hasn’t explored anything in over 10 years. Clutch then tells him that he has stumbled upon a pyramid, and hangs up.
The Explorers Club
Cecil was by the reception desk when Lloyd, Zane, and Nya arrive, requesting the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, But he refuses to give it to them because they are not members and throws them out. Zane, disguised as Clutch, attempted to get Cecil to hand him the scroll, but he tells him that his membership has been suspended. Later, the three Ninja break in through the ventilation, unintentionally disturbing a meeting before Cecil and some guards came in to grab them, but they easily evade him, quickly heading into the artefact storage room. Once the three Ninja were in the storage room where rare bugs were, Cecil and the guards attempted to capture them, but were distracted by some tiger wasps that Nya accidentally released, but Cecil managed to get through them and tried to attack them with a blowpipe, but the dart ricochets off Zane and hits a nearby cage containing Mastodetrous Venomous, providing a distraction for the Ninja to steal the scroll, leaving Cecil and the members no choice but to watch them leave while the tiger wasps kept attacking them.
Appearance
Cecil wears reading glasses as well as a light brown suit with a brown vest and matching bowtie, as well as a white shirt. His Explorers Club pin hangs on the left side of his blazer.
Personality
Cecil appears to be oblivious about situations in Ninjago City, or just doesn't seem to care at all, thus making him very selfish.
