| Thunderfang | Chaos |
Chaos (also referred to as chaotic power or dark powers) is a corrupted form of dragon energy created by Thunderfang, enhanced by any soul he consumed, initially drawing from the souls of the Oni and their power of Destruction[1] until he died from the healing elixir. Thunderfang desired to become a Source Dragon with Chaos as his Source.[3] It is the opposite of Focus.

Trivia[]
- It is the only "Source" the First Spinjitzu Master did not use as a Conduit, due to Thunderfang not being a true Source Dragon.
- As Thunderfang is not a true Source Dragon, the Forbidden Five, whose powers are derived from him, are most likely not allowed to participate in the Tournament of the Sources, with Nokt being an exception due to Ras and Bleckt's deal.[4]
- Possibly due to differences in power level, Chaos energy can appear in various colors. The most common is red, though it sometimes turns blue when in its rudimentary form, and yellow, as seen in the second part of the third season when Thunderfang absorbed the soul energy of hundreds of people across the Realms.
