- It was released to celebrate 10 years of the series and theme by including information on minifigures from every year of the line.
- A number of minifigures are not shown in the book.
- Skylor, Karlof, Griffin Turner, Jacob, Bolobo, and Gravis are the only Elemental Masters to be featured. This is probably due to the fact that they are the only Elemental Masters to physically appear in regular, non-promotional Ninjago sets.
- Other minifigures not shown in the book are the original Wu, Nelson, and all minifigures except Golden Wu from 71741 Ninjago City Gardens. Legacy Ghost Warriors and Legacy Eyezor are also not included. No Bricktober minifigures are included either, although it refers to Future Jay.
- Much like the Visual Dictionary New Edition, the Oni aren't featured at all in this book.
- This is the first set since 2017, the year Nya's Fusion robe was released, to include a version of Nya with her original signature collar design.
- Many figures were grouped into a single page to save space, due to the amount of minifigures featured.
- There are 2 versions of this book, the regular version, which includes the Nya minifigure, and the Library Edition, which does not include a minifigure.
- Legacy redesigns of minifigures are used on respective pages of old minifigures, such as how the Legacy 1 Ninja's suits were used on the pages where the original Ninja's suit should have been.
- Cyrus Borg's and Dr. Saunders' images in this book are exactly the same as the images used on former versions of their respective pages on this wiki.[2][3]
- The book is divided into 15 chapters, each of which describes one season. However, it starts with the pilot episodes, which are Chapter one, so all seasons are postponed until Chapter ten. However, as the events of Season 10 are not described in the book, from Chapter eleven the seasons are numbered the same. The last, Chapter fifteen describes the Golden Legacy minifigures from the tenth anniversary of Ninjago.
Errors[]
- The book still refers to itself as "Updated and Expanded" on the first page.
- Although the book states that a snake tail piece was created for Anacondrai in 2012, it was in fact created for all Serpentine generals.
- In the Rebooted chapter of the book, it was said that Pythor was the one who turned Cyrus Borg into the OverBorg, even though it was actually Wu who was turned into a cyborg by him.
- The same chapter also stated that Wu was turned evil by the Digital Overlord, despite it actually being Cyrus Borg.
- The book states that Clouse was responsible for turning the cultists into Anacondrai. However, it was in fact Kapau and Chope who started the spell.[4]
- Hutchins is said to have been horrified to see the Temple of Resurrection turn into a monstrous face, although he was already dead during the incident.
- A minifigure of Mr. E pictured in this book has no shoulder pads.
- The Blizzard Archers were said to be ordinary soldiers like the Blizzard Warriors before being enslaved by Zane, even though in the show, they were actually created by him.
- The book states that the head mold of Re-Awakened was created directly for them in 2020, but in fact it was created for Legacy Skulkin in 2019.
- On Golden Legacy Lloyd's page, a preliminary image for 71735 Tournament of Elements with a faint confidential watermark is used.[5]
