Ras (formerly)

Cinder served as one of Ras' former allies. Cinder appeared to be loyal to Ras, having no problem shattering his goodness and complying to his orders.

During the Tournament of the Sources, Ras trained Cinder with his other champions and hoped that he could win in the end. When Cinder lost to Sora, Ras continued to let Cinder remain in the Wolf Clan, unlike what he did to Jay. However after Nokt's victory, Cinder was corrupted by Rox's magic and sided with the evil Wolf Clan, fighting Ras unwillingly and ultimately losing.

Allies

Jordana (rival; formerly)

Jordana is Cinder's rival in the Wolf Clan. The two compete over being Ras' second-in-command. After failing to capture Bonzle, Jordana became furious when Cinder once again taunted her for her failures. Their rivalry ended after Jordana parted ways leaving Cinder in a Vengestone cage in the City of Temples.

Nokt (formerly)

When Nokt was freed he was forced to join Ras and his allies including Cinder. But Nokt didn't seem to like Cinder, indeed during a training session with the later he was very violent towards him and he probably would have seriously injured him if he had not been stopped by Ras. After this, Nokt even growled at Cinder, which brought fear to the Master of Smoke.

However the two corrupted Elemental Masters accepted to join forces to fight against the ninjas.

Enemies

Ninja

Cinder is an enemy of the ninja. He first met Arin, Sora, Lloyd and Riyu when they were trying to stop him from stealing the Mallet of Shattering. He later met them again at the Cloud Kingdom when he, much to their shock defeated them by using Shatterspin. During the Ritual of the Blood Moon, he met them again and met his first defeat at the hands of Kai who used Rising Dragon against him. During the Tournament of the Sources, their relationship was as hostile as the last time they fought, with Cinder even going as far as to mock Kai's absence and constantly taunting Wyldfyre. After defeating her in a duel, he mocks them outside the arena and sets up them up, making Bleckt believe they attacked him as revenge for defeating Wyldfyre. After the victory ceremony was sabotaged by Nokt and Rox, he was brainwashed by Rox alongside the Wolf Mask Warriors and attacked the Elemental Masters, Ras and also the ninja, which led him to his imprisonment following his defeat.

Kai

Despite their limited personal interaction, Cinder seemed to hold some degree of contempt for Kai. Following the Ritual of the Blood Moon, where Kai was banished to the Nether-Space, Cinder would deride him as a 'loser' to Kai's student, Wyldfyre, with whom he shared a more personal enmity with. Kai on the other hand did not seem to hold Cinder to much regard either, asking him in their first encounter if Cinder knew that Kai had 'trashed' the previous Master of Smoke before effortlessly defeating Cinder prior to his usage of Shatterspin.

Wyldfyre

After the Ritual of the Bloodmoon, and throughout the Tournament of the Sources, Cinder seemed to take great delight in bullying Wyldfyre in particular, taking every opportunity he got to beat or demean her in some way, shape, or form. His interest in singling out Wyldfyre seemed to have stemmed primarily from her unbridled hatred towards him for his involvement in banishing Kai, Wyldfyre's mentor, to the Nether-Space - a stark contrast to the attitudes of the other ninja towards him following that event.

Writers of Destiny

Cinder had worked with Ras to imprison the Writers of Destiny to help them translate the Theroxian language. When Ras gave Cinder the order to kill the Writers of Destiny, Cinder gladly complied with setting the Cloud Kingdom to crash.
