- Not to be confused with another desert pyramid.

|— Skales to Pythor in "The Royal Blacksmiths"|
During the hunt for the Fangblades, the Serpentine followed their map to the Desert Pyramid. Upon foreseeing traps ahead, Pythor released the captured Lloyd and demanded that he retrieve the Fangblade, claiming that he would set the boy free if he succeeded.
With no other choice, Lloyd entered the Pyramid, avoiding crumbling stone floors, lowering spiked ceilings, wall-mounted arrow launchers, and collapsing ceilings on his way to the Fangblade's resting place. After narrowly evading all of the traps, Lloyd reached the Fangblade's pedestal, only to discover that it was gone. He relayed this to the Serpentine, who subsequently retrieved him and took him back into imprisonment.
- Kai drives through the pyramid in Level 5: Crashcourse Canyon of LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin.
- It's unknown how Lloyd was able to escape the pyramid after the only visible entrance was blocked by rubble.
- It is also unknown if this pyramid has any connection to the Pyro Vipers.
