The Destiny's Shadow was a flying ship given to Lloyd Garmadon by Misako that she had intended for it to be a birthday gift. Lloyd and Zane used it to fly to the Ninjago Museum of History. Later on, Zane remotely drove it to the secret tunnel in the museum.
History[]
Secrets Discovered[]
Misako presented Lloyd the Destiny's Shadow as an early birthday gift. He and Zane used it to fly to the Ninjago Museum of History.
When they found a sewer network, Zane summoned the Bounty to travel. Zane tells them the lack of temporal scanners but also said there's a collision-avoidance system that shows many targets. They drove straight toward them to attack.
Out of the Fire and Into the Boiling Sea[]
When Cole, Jay, Zane, and Lloyd attempted to retreat, they were heading to the Destiny's Shadow but Zane picked up Cyrus Borg's signal. When the Vermillion warriors checked, the ship was still there.
Way of the Departed[]
Functions[]
The Destiny's Shadow has four offensive weapons, seven defensive systems, five transformative reconfigurations, a collision-avoidance system, and one mini-fridge. The third reconfiguration allows it to travel in water. As well as the ability to fly, the ship has a collision-avoidance system that can detect nearby targets.
LEGO.com description[]
Like Jay, Lloyd gets his own vehicle as an early birthday present. The Destiny's Shadow is a small amphibious craft designed in the style of the Destiny's Bounty. It can blast through NINJAGO Island at top speed on land or roar across the water in the tunnels below the city. Before Lloyd even learns to unlock its many weapons, Zane finds the mini-fridge for a refreshing post-battle beverage.[1]

Trivia[]
- The Destiny's Shadow was given to Lloyd as an early birthday present by Misako and was hidden underneath one of the floors of the Temple of Airjitzu.
- The third transformative reconfiguration is the Xperimental Amphibious Multi-Terrain Assault Vehicle (X.A.M.T.A.V.).
- Jay notes the acronym sounds like a laxative.
- The third transformative reconfiguration is the Xperimental Amphibious Multi-Terrain Assault Vehicle (X.A.M.T.A.V.).
- The Destiny's Shadow is similar to the Destiny's Wings, as they are both variations of the Destiny's Bounty.
- The closed captioning and the "Ninjago: Decoded" episode, "Vehicles and Mechs", refer to this vehicle as Daring Bounty, suggesting it was originally going to be called this. For some reason, when Zane's line about the vehicle's features from "Secrets Discovered" is replayed in the Decoded episode, Zane's past self says "Daring Bounty" instead of "Destiny's Shadow".
- The Destiny's Shadow is similar to Hotspur from Nexo Knights, as they are both air vehicles created as birthday presents for their owners (Lloyd and Macy respectively) and given early by their parents (Misako and King Halbert respectively).
