Djinjago | Djinjago (reconstruction) |
- “I thought Djinjago was destroyed.”
- “It was. However, I was on a long quest in another realm when it happened. Upon my return, there was nothing left of my homeland, except this grain of sand. It is all that remains of the once noble Djinjago.”
— Nya and Arrakore, "The Last Djinn" |
Djinjago is one of the realms, as well as the realm of the djinns and the sister realm of the Cursed Realm. Nadakhan was the prince in the Royal Family of Djinjago, as well as a feared pirate captain who was imprisoned in a teapot by his nemesis many years ago.
When the ninja destroyed The Preeminent to save Ninjago, Djinjago became destabilized in turn, causing it to slowly collapse.
After Nadakhan was freed from the teapot by Clouse, he took his crew to see his home realm, planning on staying there as the people of Ninjago forgot about pirates.
Because to the destruction of the Cursed Realm, Nadakhan's father passed down the Sword of Souls to him, encouraging his son to restore their home realm. While Nadakhan did so, after being struck with the venom of a Tiger Widow, he lost control of the new realm and it fell apart. When Jay made his final wish, Nadakhan was sent back into the Teapot of Tyrahn, while Djinjago would collapse entirely with no chance of being reborn.
Shortly after the realm's destruction, Arrakore, the last djinn, took possession of a small grain of sand, the only thing left of the realm. He kept it safe in his necklace.
After the Merge, the only part left of the realm merged with Ninjago.[1] However, as time passed, Arrakore realized that due to the profound link between Djinjago and wish magic, he possessed the ability to restore Djinjago by tapping into his wish magic once more.
History[]
Prior to the series[]
Djinjago was created at an unknown point in history along with the other realms, with the Cursed Realm as its sister realm. At some point, Nadakhan left the realm to rule Ninjago as a pirate.[2] After the defeat of the Preeminent and the destruction of its sister realm, Djinjago started collapsing.
Prior to Skybound[]
Arrakore had left Djinjago to go on a long quest in another realm. Zanth had also travelled to the realm of Imperium, but was unfortunately captured by the Claws of Imperium and imprisoned in the Advanced Systems Lab.
Skybound[]
Enkrypted[]
Following his release from imprisonment in the Teapot of Tyrahn, Nadakhan reassembled his old crew (save for the deceased Delara) and took them to Djinjago with the power of the Realm Crystal.
When the pirates arrived, the once-beautiful realm was collapsing before their very eyes. Khanjikhan, Nadakhan's father and the king of the realm, told him that the ninja had destroyed Djinjago's sister realm, the Cursed Realm, disturbing the balance between realities and causing Djinjago to collapse. Passing the Djinn Blade down to his son, Khanjikhan implored him to avenge Djinjago's fall before ushering the pirates out of his realm before it collapsed completely.
After Enkrypted[]
Arrakore returned to Djinjago from his long quest, only to find the realm completely destroyed, except for one grain of sand. He took the sand and moved to the Pinnacle of Crystals.
Misfortune Rising through The Way Back[]
- Main article: Djinjago (reconstruction)
Following his narrow escape from Djinjago, Nadakhan swore vengeance on the ninja for their unwitting role in destroying his home realm. Using the Djinn Blade to absorb powerful souls (including several of the ninja), he tore out pieces of Ninjago's landmass and raised them into the sky, building a new incarnation of Djinjago above the city.
After Djinjago was reconstructed, Nadakhan married Nya and became king, gaining infinite wishes. Later, the djinn's power was drastically weakened when he was shot with Tiger Widow venom by Flintlocke, causing Djinjago to start falling on top of Ninjago. After Jay made his final wish, the recent events of were erased thus, Djinjago would remain destroyed.

Trivia[]
- Due to its destruction, Nadakhan wished to create a "new" Djinjago by tearing apart Ninjago and causing pieces of land to be raised into the air.
- If a Djinn Prince marries a person on Djinn land, he will gain the power to grant himself unlimited wishes.
- Djinjago's destruction is the first event from the second half of "Infamous" through to the end of "The Way Back" that still occurred after Jay's final wish due to its destruction not being directly connected to the events of Skybound. The second was Cliff Gordon's death and the third is the Temple of Airjitzu still floating over the sky (though this was a result of Skybound).
