- “Master Wu, is that the Golden Armor?”
- “Yes, with a few enhancements thanks to P.I.X.A.L..”
— Lloyd and Wu, "Brave But Foolish" |
The Dragon Chestplate is a chestplate that's part of the complete Dragon Armor. When united with the rest of the armor, it can supposedly control the Firstbourne. It was once worn by the First Spinjitzu Master before he left the Realm of Oni and Dragons. It was located in Firstbourne's nest until it was found by the Iron Baron and Wu, and the latter briefly uses it. Wu wore it during the battle against his brother, and later wore it again years later during the battle against the Overlord, having been upgraded by P.I.X.A.L. to now sprout wings.
History[]
The Dragon Chestplate, along with the other pieces of the Dragon Armor, were created by Firstbourne and the First Spinjitzu Master.
Hunted[]
Iron Baron and Wu arrived at Firstbourne's nest, where Iron Baron attempted to steal the Dragon Armor and take control of the dragon. However, Wu intervened and informed him that it was not the armor that controlled Firstbourne. In response, Firstbourne swiftly buried Iron Baron in molten rock. Wu then claimed possession of the Dragon Armor, which he used during his fight with Garmadon.
Crystalized[]
Following the Overlord's return, as his forces begin to take over Ninjago City, Wu has P.I.X.A.L. add a few modifications to his Dragon Chestplate to sprout wings, allowing him to fly. He then wears the armor during the climactic battle with the Overlord and his army. Following the Overlord's defeat by Lloyd and the Golden Ultra Dragon, the current whereabouts of the Dragon Chestplate are unknown once again.
