- The fact that Nya is with the ninja means that the comic takes place after the Pilot episodes. However, it also features alive Samukai, which makes the comic non-canon.
- All of the original four Ninja, and Wu, appear in their legacy uniforms but Nya appears in her original casual outfit design.
