| Dragons | Dragonians |
Dragonians are a species of humanoid dragons native to the First Land. The Dragonian Tribe, led by Tyr, resides in the Storm Village, and were coerced to serve as the army for Thunderfang and the Forbidden Five on two different occasions.
History[]
Background[]
The Dragonians emerged as a peaceful race of humanoid dragons residing in the Realm of Oni and Dragons. They established their village atop Thunderfang's prison. Like all dragons throughout the First Realm, the Dragonians harbor a deep-seated animosity towards the Oni.[1]
Dragons Rising, Season 3[]
Years after the Merge, Arin encountered Tyr's tribe, who mistakenly identified him as an Oni because of the horns adorning his mask. This misunderstanding led them to chase him into the South Woods. Unfortunately, the Dragonians later discovered the presence of a cyclops named Powerlid in the same woods, so they sent a Dragonian Hunting Party to investigate. Regrettably, the expedition resulted in the capture of the Dragonian Hunters.[1]
While the ninja, consisting of Lloyd, Sora, Frak, and Riyu, were on a quest to find Arin, they accidentally tumbled off a cliff and landed in a river below. Fortunately, they were spotted by the Dragonians, who were out fishing, and they quickly came to the ninja's aid, bringing them back to their village for safety. After learning about Arin's whereabouts and the Dragonian Hunting Party from two elder women of the village, the ninja set off toward the South Woods. There, they successfully freed the Dragonian Hunting Party from Powerlid.[1]
Eventually, the Forbidden Five, driven by their desire for power from Thunderfang, launched an assault on the Storm Village and the Dragonians. Using Thunderfang's gem, they managed to corrupt the Dragonians, including Tyr, transforming them into savage warriors who were compelled to obey the Forbidden Five. This transformation was crucial, as the Dragonians were uniquely skilled at locating the elusive Prismatic Blades. With their newfound allegiance, the Dragonian Warriors joined forces with the Forbidden Five, embarking on a relentless quest to seek out the Prismatic Blades scattered across the Merged Realms.[2]
After the Forbidden Five gathered all the Prismatic Blades and released Thunderfang, he turned against them, resulting in the Dragonian Warriors following his lead in their battle against the ninja. Fortunately, Arin managed to use the healing elixir from the Well of the Lost to halt Thunderfang's rampage, ultimately leading to his demise. With Thunderfang gone, the Dragonians were cleansed of his dark influence and reconciled with the ninja, expressing their gratitude to Arin for his heroic actions and say they owe him and the ninja their freedom.[3]
After the battle with Thunderfang, numerous Dragonians who perished while still in their corrupted state were transformed into spectral Hollow Ones, much like the Forbidden Five.[4] They were sent forth to collect souls throughout the Merged Lands, aiming to amass enough power to help Thunderfang become a Source Dragon.
