Drix is a corrupted anthropomorphic insect,[1] a member of the Forbidden Five, and the Elemental Master of Swarm.[3] For millennia, Drix and his[4] fellow members were imprisoned in the Nether-Space by the Dragon Masters. During the Ritual of the Blood Moon, Ras attempted to liberate all five members of the group for the Tournament of the Sources but his efforts were only partially successful, resulting in the release of Nokt and inadvertently, Rox's soul, while Drix, Zarkt, and Kur remained imprisoned. Throughout the Tournament of the Sources, Drix and the others managed to establish a form of communication with Nokt and Rox.
Ultimately, at the tournament's conclusion, Nokt succeeded in liberating the remaining members of the Forbidden Five, albeit in a weakened state due to the portal's draining effects. Together, Drix and the other four members made their escape through a portal gate to the Cloud Kingdom, where they subsequently destroyed the portal gate to be sent to a different realm.
History
Background
Drix started as an average Elemental Master from the Wyldness, but later joined forces with four other Elemental Masters to form the Forbidden Five. Together, they established the Wolf Clan, gathering wolf warriors under their command. Drix and his companions developed ancient combat techniques and magical practices, which they passed on to their warriors. This collaboration led the Wolf Clan, under the Forbidden Five's leadership, into a prosperous era.[5] However, the very powers they harnessed began to corrupt the Wolf Clan, including Drix, shattering the goodness in their souls.[6][7] As such, they were reduced to agents of chaos, wreaking havoc across the Wyldness using Shatterspin, compelling all who opposed them to either submit or face death.[8]
One day, while at the Shadow Dojo, Drix and the Forbidden Five were joined by the wolf warriors as Nokt returned from an assault on a tiger tribe. One survivor, Zarkar, questioned their ruthless actions, prompting laughter from Drix and the others. Rox justified the group's devastation as a show of strength, while Nokt urged them to prepare for further destruction across other realms.[9][8] Just then, the Dragon Masters arrived, countering the Forbidden Five's Shatterspin with the Rising Dragon technique. The Dragon Masters emerged victorious, casting Drix and the rest of the Forbidden Five to the Nether-Space with a powerful spell for millennia.[10]
Rising Ninja
During the Ritual of the Blood Moon, when Jordana opened the gateway to the Nether-Space, Drix and the rest of the Forbidden Five gathered before the portal and watched as Nokt stepped forward to await a sacrifice.
Inside the Maze
Drix contacted Nokt and Rox as he, Zarkt, and Kur remained stuck in Nether-Space. The three then left the area, leaving Rox’s soulless body.
The Sword Shatters
Drix broke up a fight between Zarkt and Kur. The three then left the area, with Drix leading the way while Zarkt and Kur carried Rox's soulless body.
The Final Game
Drix stood alongside Zarkt and Kur to communicate with Nokt and Rox. The three stopped for a moment when they heard a sound, and Zarkt went to investigate, but found nothing. The three then continued to communicate with Nokt and Rox.
Elements of Betrayal
Despite some interference from the ninja, Roby and Ras, Nokt was able to free Drix and the other members of the Forbidden Five, as well as Rox's physical body, from the Nether-Space. However, the three were weakened and unconscious from the corrupted method used. Drix soon recovered and the Forbidden Five fled through a gate to the Cloud Kingdom, but the gate collapsed and sent them somewhere else.
