“When someone loses a match, they give their power to this Elemental Cup, and with it, I give their powers to the winner, who then has both powers.”

The Elemental Cup is a sacred trophy in the Tournament of the Sources which can only be used by the Games Master. Because it was made from Arc Dragon horns, made from Dragon Ivory, the cup can harness and transfer Elemental Powers.

History[]

They Gather for the Feast[]

Roby describes the method of using the Elemental Cup to transfer the loser's Elemental Powers to the winner during the Tournament of the Sources, ultimately allowing the victor to possess all Elemental Powers by the end of the competition. Bleckt adds that after the tournament concludes, the Elemental Cup will restore the Elemental Powers to their original owners. When the ninja were worried about someone potentially misusing all the Elemental Powers for malicious intents, Roby calmed their fears by explaining that he was the only one capable of operating the cup, which means he had the ability to take away the Elemental Powers from the Elemental Master if necessary.

Inside the Maze[]

Roby used the cup to provide Ice to Zur in the first round and Lightning to Nya in the second round of the tournament.

United We Fall[]

Roby gave Balance to Sora and Heat to Cinder by using the cup after winning their respective rounds in the Tournament of the Sources.

Truth and Lies[]

Roby used the Elemental Cup to transfer Wind to Zeatrix, Poison, Water, and Lightning to Nokt, Light to Lloyd, Earth to Frak, and Smoke and Heat to Sora.

The Sword Shatters[]

Roby used the Elemental Cup to transfer various powers to different Elemental Masters throughout the day's matches. First, he gave Reflex and Ice to Frak, Propulsion to Lloyd. Following that, Sound was bestowed upon Algu, while Size was granted to Geo. Zeatrix received Surface Tension, and Nokt was given the power of Mind. Additionally, Lloyd received both Fusion and Size from Geo. Zeatrix also got Figment and Sound, and finally, Sora was endowed with the power of Form. Also, at least one another power was transferred to Frak.[2]

Clues and Suspects[]

Roby used the cup to take all of the Elemental Powers that Zeatrix had won in her tournament matches after losing to Lloyd. Subsequently, Roby employed the Elemental Cup to pass Frak's Elemental Powers to Sora. In the match between Lloyd and Nokt, Roby once again used the Elemental Cup to transfer all of Zeatrix's Elemental Powers to Lloyd. However, due to Lloyd's injuries, he had to withdraw from the competition, leading Roby to remove the Elemental Powers from Lloyd and transfer them to Nokt.

The Final Game[]

In the final round of the Tournament of the Sources, Nokt emerged victorious against Sora, while Roby used the Elemental Cup to absorb all the Elemental Powers that Sora had acquired throughout the tournament. Just as Roby was about to confer upon Nokt the Elemental Powers of all the competitors, Wyldfyre and Zur intervened, disclosing that Bleckt had manipulated the games to benefit the Wolf Clan. In light of this revelation, Roby opted to annul the ceremony; however, Nokt retaliated by striking Roby with Shatterspin, which caused the Elemental Cup to activate, resulting in the transfer of the Elemental Powers contained within the trophy to Nokt. The cup was knocked away when Nokt used Heat.

Elements of Betrayal[]

Roby manage to regain the cup and accompanied Ras to the Monastery of Gates in order to thwart Nokt's plans by using the Elemental Cup. Despite Roby's efforts, Nokt fought back fiercely, using his new Elemental Powers to push Roby to the edge of a cliff, leaving him hanging precariously with the cup in hand. Fortunately, Wyldfyre swooped in to rescue Roby. As Nokt turned his attention towards Kai, preparing to deliver a final blow, Roby seized the opportunity to act. Using the Elemental Cup, Roby stripped Nokt of the stolen Elemental Powers (absorbing Nokt's power for the first time), and returned them to their rightful owners.
