“Master, I know what I did goes against everything we believe in. But after the Merge, I discovered I was an Elemental Master. I tried to deny it, but when I saw I could help save our kingdom, I just couldn't hide who I was any longer.”
— Euphrasia admitting to Suetonius, "Writers of Destiny"

Euphrasia is a Writer of Destiny and the current Elemental Master of Wind. She was born in the Cloud Kingdom and received the Elemental Power of Wind after the Merge which she decided to hide as she was a Writer of Destiny, until she was forced to use it to save her kingdom when it became attacked with the help of the Ninja. She therefore triggered a process of modernization of methods in the Cloud Kingdom.

When her Kingdom was attacked by the Wolf Clan, she defended it but was defeated and forced to flee, turning to the Ninja for help. After her return to the Cloud Kingdom with the ninjas, she was captured by the Wolf Clan and later chosen as a sacrifice to bring back the Forbidden Five. She was saved by the Ninja during the Ritual of the Blood Moon and she helped save her kingdom from crashing with her Wind powers.

She later participated as a competitor in the Tournament of the Sources but loses against Zeatrix. At the end of the Tournament, she fought with the other depowered Elemental Masters against the Wolf Mask Warriors and eventually regains her power.

History[]

Early life[]

Prior to the Merge, Euphrasia was an ordinary inhabitant of the Cloud Kingdom destined to be a Writers of Destiny until the Merge occurred, merging her Kingdom and the other realms into one world. Not long after, she discovered she has gained the Elemental Power of Wind because of the Merge,[1] which previously belonged to Morro. Fearing exile, she kept her newfound power hidden.[2]

Dragons Rising, Season 1[]

Writers of Destiny[]

Euphrasia was with Marcus as a tentacled beast began destroying the tower they were on. They nearly fell off until the ninja came to save them. Euphrasia explained to the ninja about the monster and the Ice Dragons' presence in the realm as she was taken back to the Cloud Kingdom.

As the ninja battled the tentacled beast, Euphrasia, while writing a scroll, discreetly saves Arin and Sora from falling, using her Wind powers during a MergeQuake. Unfortunately, they notice her and confront her about it, but she tries to deny it and walked away. Eventually, another MergeQuake occurred, releasing the tentacled beasts and seeing Sora struggling, Euphrasia abandons her duty to help fight them before Lloyd, Kai, Nya, and Arin arrive to help. Once the beasts were placed in the rift, Euphrasia helps close it with her powers. Returning to praising writers, Euphrasia confesses to Suetonius about hiding her powers and will be facing exile. However, Suetonius, who saw that the writers did not write the MergeQuake stopping, lets it unfold and asks for her assistance in maintaining the realm. She later watched Lloyd, Kai, Arin, Sora, and Riyu leave while Nya stayed to find the MergeQuake prevention solution herself.

Dragons Rising, Season 2[]

Shattered Dreams[]

Euphrasia attempted to stop Ras and the Wolf Clan from take over the Cloud Kingdom, only to be easily defeated by Cinder, sending her falling off the Cloud Kingdom and narrowly used her powers to try and slow her mass descent.

Euphrasia eventually crash-lands on the outskirts of Imperium, where Percival Tartigrade discovers her and gets her to the Monastery of Spinjitzu, where she warned the Ninja before they head for the Cloud Kingdom and rescue Suetonius, who was encased in a cocoon when Ras turned the Scroll-Worms against him. He and Euphrasia eventually head to safety, only to be captured at some point.

Beyond the Phantasm Cave[]

Euphrasia and Suetonius were restrained by handcuffs, unable to move freely. Jordana seized the opportunity to taunt Euphrasia, pointing out the medallion adorning her neck is made of Vengestone.

The Forest of Spirits[]

Rising Ninja[]

Enter the City of Temples[]

While she was flying around the Cloud Kingdom with her Wind power as usual, Euphrasia received an invitation to the Tournament of the Sources by two Spirit Dragons, which made her euphoric.

Later, Euphrasia arrived at the entrance of the City of Temples. She inserted her invite into the gate, which opened it. She rode up the elevator as the Ninja watched her from afar.

Truth and Lies[]

In the Tournament, Euphrasia battled Zeatrix on floating platforms. Zeatrix used her elemental power of Shockwave and knocked Euphrasia off her platform. Roby used the Elemental Cup to transfer Euphrasia’s power of Wind to Zeatrix.

The Final Game[]

Euphrasia watched the final round of the Tournament of the Sources from the spectator stands. Soon thereafter, she watched in surprise when Wyldfyre arrived with Zur to expose Bleckt after Nokt defeated Sora.

Elements of Betrayal[]

Euphrasia fought alongside several other Elemental Masters, and even protected Tox who was knocked on the ground by an empowered Wolf Mask Warrior before being confronted by Cinder and the Wolf Mask Warriors in hand-to-hand combat. Upon the return of their powers, she knocked Cinder down with a gust of wind before he could use his power of smoke.

Official description[]

As a Writer of Destiny she feels extremely uncomfortable with her Elemental Power at first. She hides it because she fears it will get her banished from the Cloud Kingdom.

After a conversation with Arin and Sora and a threat from a flying, one-eyed giant monster, her fears and worries are blown away. Together with the ninja, Euphrasia unleashes her power and saves her home![3]

Personality[]

As a Writer of Destiny, Euphrasia believed that the words she wrote mattered. Even after she realized she had become an Elemental Master, she continued to follow her beliefs and refused to give up writing, knowing she would be exiled from the Cloud Kingdom.

However, Euphrasia showed that she will rise up when needed, as shown in her battle against the tentacled beasts. Once she realized she could help save the Cloud Kingdom, she decided not to hide her powers any longer.

Abilities[]

  • Wind - As a Master of Wind, Euphrasia possesses the ability to manipulate, control, and produce air/wind. Moreover, she can summon a formidable air current that draws objects and individuals towards her by harnessing the force of the wind.
    • Aerokinetic Flight - Euphrasia possesses the ability to soar through the air with the power of Wind. However, in order to maintain her flight and ensure the buoyancy of herself and those around her, she must skillfully manipulate the air currents. Remarkably, she is able to achieve this without having to rely on one of her hands.
    • Aerokinetic Beam Emission - Euphrasia can release beams of wind to push opponents or objects.
