The Fangpyre Staff is one of the Serpentine Staffs. It belongs to the Fangpyre general, Fangtom, and holds a vial of anti-venom that can save victims from the effects of the Fangpyre bite.
When the Fangpyre anti-venom is mixed with the anti-venom of the other four Snake Staffs, a white liquid is formed that, when it drips on a piece of paper, creates a map to the four Fangblades.
It is currently being displayed in the Ninjago Museum of History.
History[]
Rise of the Snakes[]
Snakebit[]
Fangtom is seen carrying the staff when he first emerges from the Fangpyre Tomb. When Jay's parents were affected by the Fangpyre bite, he steals the staff so Nya could cure them. After they were cured, Nya lost the staff when the Destiny's Bounty took off, causing to fall on Fang-Suei's head and allowing Fangtom to recover it.
Never Trust a Snake[]
Fangtom is seen with his staff while heading to the Hypnobrai Tomb. He left it in his Bite Cycle before confronting Skales.
Can of Worms[]
Fangtom is seen holding the staff when Pythor tries to unite the Serpentine tribes before the ninja interfere.
The Snake King[]
Fangtom is seen holding the staff inside the city of Ouroboros when Pythor challenges Fangtom and the other tribe generals for their staves and their allegiances. In the ensuing fight, Fangtom attempted to strike Pythor with the staff, but missed. Following Pythor's victory, with the help of Skales slipping him the Sacred Flute, Pythor briefly claimed the Fangpyre Staff, along with the others, and commanded the Serpentine to bow before him before returning the staves to their original owners.
Tick Tock[]
Fangtom is seen holding the staff when the Serpentine Generals are talking about the Map to the four Fangblades. Later, when Pythor struggles to solve the riddle involving it, Fangtom, Acidicus and Skalidor try to take their staffs back, only for the latter two to get into a fight, causing them to drop their staffs and drip antivenom out and mix. This makes Pythor realize the antivenom within the five Serpentine staffs were the key to finding the map and unite the Fangpyre staff with the other four, and lets their antivenom drip onto a piece of paper to reveal the map.
The Green Ninja[]
Fangtom carried the staff as he accompanied Pythor and his group to the Fire Temple in search of the Fangpyre Fangblade.
All of Nothing[]
Fangtom is seen carrying the staff within the Serpentine's underground fortress, guarding the fangblades alongside the other generals. He would continue to use the staff in combat against Jay, and later still carried it while observing the Slither Pit duel.
Day of the Great Devourer[]
The staff was seen with Fangtom when he argued with Skales. It was later seen with Fangtom when he explained to Skalidor that the Great Devourer was destroyed.
Legacy of the Green Ninja[]
Darkness Shall Rise[]
Fangtom is seen holding the staff when Skales tries to convince the Serpentine to follow him, only for them to follow Garmadon after using the Golden Weapons to create the Black Bounty. He continues to carry it when the Serpentine Generals convey in the Ninjago Metro to brainstorm ways of winning back their followers. He later uses it in combat against the Ninja aboard one of the Metro trains, striking Zane with the staff before turning his attention towards Cole, who proceeded to knock Fangtom down, causing him to drop the staff. Following the battle, Fangtom, Acidicus, and Skalidor managed to escape, taking their staves with them as they later joined Garmadon.
Pirates vs. Ninja[]
Fangtom is seen carrying the staff when he, Acidicus, and Skalidor question Garmadon about the functions of the Mega Weapon. He later is seen carrying it again while standing alongside Acidicus, Skalidor, and Garmadon after they reclaim the Black Bounty from Soto and his crew.
Child's Play[]
Fangtom is seen carrying the staff with him as the Serpentine rendezvous with Garmadon inside the Ninjago Museum of History.
The Stone Army[]
Fangtom and the other generals are seen carrying their staves as they observe a duel in Ouroborus and shortly thereafter, Garmadon's arrival aboard a Rattlercopter. After Garmadon reveals his intentions of seeking the Dark Island and that he needs a "few brave snakes" to join him, Fangtom eagerly raises the staff in the air alongside Acidicus and Skalidor, with all three, and a reluctant Skales, following Garmadon back onboard the Rattlercopter in search of the Dark Island, bringing the staves with them.
The Day Ninjago Stood Still[]
Fangtom is seen carrying the staff with him as the Serpentine tunnel below Ninjago City, eventually reaching the Tomb of the Stone Army. When the Stone Army left their chamber and imprisoned the Serpentine within their tomb, the staff was presumably imprisoned alongside them.
