Netflix is a streaming service available worldwide. It was founded in 1997, starting as a DVD rental service, moving to streaming film and television in 2007. Ninjago is streamed globally on the service, with availability varying between countries. An exclusive "Happy Birthday" special mini-episode was also formerly available to watch.

Ninjago: Dragons Rising was a Netflix original series and premiered on Netflix on June 1, 2023 in the United States. It was released on Netflix Australia on June 15, 2023. At some point in January 2024, Netflix removed the "Original Series" branding from Ninjago: Dragons Rising, thus it's likely that they have given up on the show.

Availability[]

Different countries have different seasons to stream.

  • Season 1 to Season 15 and Dragons Rising Season 1 to the first ten episodes of Season 2 are available to watch in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
  • Taiwan has every single installment except for the pilot episodes or Day of the Departed.
    • Curiously, the WilFilm installments are only accessible when the language is set to English.
    • Australian and Taiwanese Netflix advertise The Island as "Season 3 Part 1", and Seabound as "Season 3 Part 2".
    • Crystalized episodes 1 to 12 are advertised as "Season 4 Part 1", while episodes 13 to 30 are labelled as "Season 4 Part 2".
  • The UK has seasons 1-15.
  • Mexico/Latin America has seasons 1-15, as well as Season 1 of Dragons Rising. Previously, it also had the Pilot episodes and The LEGO Ninjago Movie, similar to the United States.
  • The Philippines and Hong Kong had seasons one and eight to Seabound. Previously, it had all of the seasons up until Season 10 and Day of the Departed.
    • Then on April 15, 2022, all the seasons aside from the pilot episodes and Day of the Departed were returned.

Trivia[]

  • Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu (WILFilm ApS/pilot episodes-season 10) and Ninjago (WildBrain/seasons 11-15) are counted as two separate series.
    • Seasons ten through thirteen were added in the United States on November 1, 2020, though with some errors:[1]
      • Only the Ice Chapter was included for Season 11: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu, though the episodes were still numbered 16 through 30. However, this was corrected when Netflix added the Fire Chapter on November 4, 2020.[2]
      • Until the summer of 2021, season 2 (seasons 12 and 13 brought together) had the season 13 episodes labeled as "Episode 17" through "Episode 32" rather than their official titles.
      • Season 11 is called "Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu" rather than "Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu". Season 2 (the combination of 12 and 13) shares this title.
      • "Would You Like to Enter Prime Empire?" is misspelled "Woud You Like to Enter Prime Empire?"
      • "Public Enemies 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5!" is misspelled as "Public Enemy 1, 2, 3, 4, 5", like the title sequence.
        • These are also the cases on Netflix Australia, Sweden, and Canada.
    • The Island and Season 14 are designated as "Season 3 Part 1" and "Season 3 Part 2," respectively. However, Seabound episodes are listed as being part of a fourth season, with episode numbers ranging from 5 through 20 (instead of 1 through 16). Crystalized, designated as "Season 4," is similarly divided into two parts, with the first twelve episodes listed as the fifth season, and the remaining 18 episodes in a separate, sixth season.
  • There is also a slightly inaccurate description for the series: "Five golden weapons were forged in the heavens above. With them, a ninja master has the power to create -- or destroy!" This could be counting the Shurikens of Ice as two separate weapons.
  • Rise of the Snakes is labeled as "Rise of the Serpentine".
  • On the Italian Netflix, seasons 1 and 2's episodes are divided in 2 11 minute episodes. These episodes all feature a recap for the previous 11 minute episode and the episode count is also changed (for example: part 2 of episode 11 is referred as "episode 22"), the first part always ends with a "to be continued" text. This altered version is on Netflix because that is how the first 2 seasons were aired in Italy.
