Fire Fiends are a cult in Ninjago that worship Fire Fang.
History[]
Quest for the Lost Powers[]
Some time after the Final prophecy of Quanish the Elder, the Fire Fiends encountered Fire Fang at their holy site, the Lake of Fire. As a group of pyro lovers, the Fire Fiends immediately hailed the giant, fiery serpent as their new deity, erecting a giant statute of the creature in his honor, as well as starting pillaging runs on neighboring villages to obtain tribute.
Several months after the Fiends' encounter with Fire Fang, they launched yet another assault on a nearby village, one that was about an hour and a half from the Lake of Fire. This time however, the Fiends faced greater resistance than before in the form of Kai and Skylor who both humiliated the Fiends and drove them out from the village. Defeated, they retreated to the Lake of Fire where they continued their worship of Fire Fang.
The Fiends would once again encounter Kai and Skylor at their place of worship and attempted, again, to fight the pair for their intrusion. Unfortunately, by this point, Kai had regained his mastery over Fire and with it, he was able to turn the object of the Fiends' adoration against them, neutralizing their weaponry before he and Skylor dispatched them. By the time the Fiends recovered from their injuries, they discovered to their horror and dismay that the pair had smothered the eternal flames of the Lake of Fire and seemingly destroyed Fire Fang.
