Frogs are amphibians living in the Merged Realms.

History[]

Background[]

Millenia ago, a tribe of anthropomorphic frogs resided in the Wyldness. They were attacked by the Wolf Clan during their conquest, but the tribe recovered.[5]

Some regular frogs living in Ninjago inhabited the Primeval's Eye and were affected by its source of evil.[4]

Rise of the Snakes[]

Kai encountered a Purple bog frog in the Toxic Bogs after he and Zane were sent to secure the Venomari Tomb. Kai was initially startled by the frog, but laughed it off as the frog leaped onto what seemed to be a lily pad inside the swamp. Unfortunately, the "lily pad" turned out to be the head of a Venomari Soldier who immediately spit venom into Kai's eyes as the frog leapt away.

Dragons Rising, Season 1[]

After The Merge, some anthropomortphic frogs relocated to the Crossroads.

Some time later Arin and Sora met an anthropomorphic frog named Alfonzo Frohicky, who worked as an event organizer throughout the newly established Crossroads. One year during the Mech Master 5000, the pair of teenagers paid for their entry ticket into the race with a freshly baked Snowberry Pie, a treat that Mr. Frohicky could not resist.

Later, after joining the Ninja, the teenagers would introduce Mr. Frohicky to their master, Lloyd, as someone who could assist their struggling master as an Assistant Keeper to the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Lloyd agreed and Mr. Frohicky would work dutifully in his position, serving under Zane who elected to work at the Monastery while the other members of the Ninja team journeyed onwards on missions. Despite dutifully serving in his position as Assistant Keeper to the Monastery, Mr. Frohicky held grave doubts about his belonging in the role and almost resigned after a series of misunderstandings on his end, believing himself to be the "Worst ever Assistant Keeper to the Monastery." After some encouragement by Zane however, Mr. Frohicky changed his mind and agreed to stay in the position.
