The crystal ball is a magical object used by Gandalaria to use spells and to fire different kinds of projectiles.
History[]
Fugitives From Madness[]
When the Administration Agents invaded the Monastery of Mysterium with the goals of "repossessing" Zane, whom they classified as equipment of the Administration, Gandalaria declared that she was going to fire up her crystal ball. When a confused Cole remarked that reading the agents' fortunes probably wasn't going to be of use, Gandalaria remarked that her crystal ball wasn't "that kind of crystal ball." She then used it to strike an Administration Agent with electricity after the agents broke down the gates to the monastery.
Secrets of the Wyldness[]
Gandalaria uses her crystal ball to electrocute the Administration Agents as she fights them. Later, Gandalaria uses her crystal ball to conjure an opening spell to open the doors of the Magical storagehouse and using it as an attempt to free Bonzle after her sealant spell was sabotaged by Jordana.
The Forest of Spirits[]
Gandalaria used her crystal ball to search for secret passages inside the Magical storagehouse so that she, Zane, and Cole could escape. After two failed attempts, the sorceress placed the crystal ball back into her hat.
Rising Ninja[]
Gandalaria used her crystal ball to free a Writer of Destiny from their chains.

- Magic Channeling - The orb's main purpose was to allow Gandalaria to channel her magic and spells. Notable spells the sorceress has been seen utilizing with the crystal ball include searching and uncovering hidden passageways, re-hiding secret passageways, firing bolts of electricity in an offensive capability, and a spell for opening doors.
