Plot[]
Garmadon stands on the Mountains of Impossible Height overlooking the clouds. He takes off his helmet and Wu comes down the stairs behind him. Wu notes that saving the city is an odd habit for a conquering warlord and Garmadon retorts that he cannot rule a land of ash. Wu reminds him that he sided with the side of good to defeat the Oni, but Garmadon says that he sided with himself, not good. Wu snatches Garmadon's helmet from his hands and throws the helmet off the mountain. Garmadon gets enraged and threatens Wu for taking his helmet. Wu simply takes his own hat off and puts it on Garmadon, saying that it was just a hat. Wu tells Garmadon that he will find the hat more suitable for his journey, and tells him that regardless of what path he chooses he will always be Wu's brother.
In the forest, Garmadon is leaned up against a tree asleep. The Two Moon Village Commandos and Min gather around him and debate whether or not they should wake him up, fearing that he will vaporize them on accident. Garmadon wakes up and tells them to take him to Kuma and not drop the tea. Bron warns Min to stay behind them and run away if anything dangerous occurs because Saeko would be angry if she got hurt.
At the village, Saeko shouts at a cowering Renzo and Kenzo for letting Min go with Garmadon. She feels better after hearing that Garmadon is there to protect her, but questions if it was a good idea to promise the Red Crows's tea to Garmadon. Kenzo declares that it is their tea and Renzo agrees, stating that the Red Crows were supposed to protect Two Moon Village from the Bears in exchange for the tea. Kenzo declares that the Red Crows have extorted them and Renzo tries to calm him. Suddenly the Red Crows arrive, led by Lord Mogra. Mogra asks if the village had had any visitors, but when he is refused he asks again using Garmadon's description. Renzo admits to seeing Garmadon and Mogra tells him that he wants to leave Garmadon a message.
The villagers and Garmadon arrive at Kuma's lair and see a large bear approaching the water to drink. Min assumes it to be Kuma and Garmadon jumps into the water, swimming up underneath the bear and punching it. Garmadon catches the bear by surprise and temporarily downs it, declaring his dominion over the forest and challenging the nearby bears to fight against his rule. He battles the bears, but the big bear gets up and devours him. Bron throws the barrel into the bear's mouth just as it clamps its jaw shut, trapping Garmadon inside. Inside the bear, Garmadon finds his Shadow counterpart standing behind him. Shadow Garmadon tells Garmadon that it is there because he summoned it. Garmadon angrily accuses it of stealing his power, but the doppelgänger declares that it IS power that Garmadon cannot access because his soul is divided. In order to access his true potential, it tells him, he must submit to it. Garmadon refuses and drinks the tea.
Garmadon leaps out of the bear's mouth in his Oni form and hits the bear with a blast of his power. The bear falls back in defeat and they all wonder if they have won until the ground begins to shake and the nearby bears all bow. Kuma breaks out of the cave and angrily questions them for their audacity to hurt her flock. Garmadon attacks her and she slams him into the rock. He burns the nearby Glimwillow Lilies causing her to roar in anger. He dodges her attacks long enough for the ceiling of the cave to collapse on top of her. Having done what they told him to, he demands they take him back to the village so he can claim his reward. Back at the village, Lord Mogra and the Red Crows burn Two Moon Village.
