Plot[]
Killow leads some Red Crows to scare off the bears from Glimwillow Forest, proclaiming it theirs and that Ninjago City is next. Unsure of himself since last night, Garmadon intends to leave when Kenzo, Renzo, Saeko, Min and the Two Moon Village Commandos approach him. He believes they want him to thank them and tells them that they should not expect it, but Saeko reassures him that Min only wanted to give him his hat back, rather than keep it for herself. Garmadon then goes on about not wanting to help them fight Mogra and save Two Moon Village, but Kenzo and Renzo believe it is best he didn't get involved. Accepting their opinion, Garmadon bids them farewell and start to leave, only for Min to reach him and hug him before telling him that if he can't help being bad, he doesn't have to be evil and leaves to catch up with the others, hoping she meets him again when the situation is resolved.
While trekking through the forest, Garmadon is encountered by the scarred bear he once fought. Believing it was back for revenge, Garmadon prepared to fight back before stopping when he noticed the bear had fresh wounds, motorcycle tracks all over the ground and many bears hiding behind trees in fear, making Garmadon realize the scarred bear was defending its home and relates. At their camp, the Two Moon Village Commandos try to form a plan to liberate the village as Bron intends to use some dynamite to blow a wall. However, Garmadon, riding the scarred bear, arrives with the bear pack, telling him he has a better use for it.
That better use is to blow up part of Kuma's lair, and while Min questions Garmadon for helping them again, and he states he just wants to get revenge on Mogra, Bron blows up the place. Upon doing so, Kuma leaves angrily asking who freed him, but he is surprised to see bears and humans working together. Saeko explains the situation with the Red Crows and asks for her help. Kuma refuses because the villagers were allied with an Oni like Garmadon. Garmadon then tries to convince him, receiving a claw from the bear, standing in front to protect Min and Saeko. Surprised by having protected the two, Kuma agrees to help the villagers, Min asks for an apology for their intrusion into the forest, the bear accepts the girl's words and asks what will happen to Mogra, to which Garmadon only asks that he takes care of it.
At his headquarters in the village, Killow informs Mogra about his pacification of the eastern part of the forest, while Mogra sends Ultra Violet to fill a wagon with Two Moon Tea as a gift to the Serpentine, trying to coax them. At that three bikers leave the headquarters quickly, Mogra asks about the scandal and Mohawk says that he had better go out to see by himself. Mogra goes out the headquarters only to see the bears commanded by Garmadon and the villagers, ready to take back the village. Mogra tries to mock Garmadon asking if he will "throw a bear at him", but Garmadon watches as Kuma attacks Mogra, destroying the bridge he is on. Furious, Mogra begins to drink Two Moon tea, and while the rest of the villagers mount the bears, the Red Crows mount their motorcycles, beginning the final battle for control of the village.
Slowly the Red Crows are losing, to which after Killow, Ultra Violet and other two bikers trying to attack Kuma and him easily defeating them, Ultra Violet asks everyone to run for their lives. The bear is attacked by Mogra, which Garmadon realizes, yelling at Mogra that his fight is with him, then both begin their fight. Mogra tells Garmadon that without the tea, he has no chance against him, and Garmadon unexpectedly removes the spheres from his necklace, giving Mogra too much power, more than he can handle. Mogra quickly begins to burn and is close to exploding, but not before trying to destroy the village while the villagers, Red Crows and bears look on. At that moment Garmadon begins to question, why he is there? What is he fighting for? And, what does he want? He then remembers his young himself having a baby Lloyd in hands. At this, Garmadon unleashes his Oni Form as he answers the final question for his purpose: redemption, releasing a powerful blast of destruction that finish with Lord Mogra forever.
In the end, the bears and the Red Crows help the villagers rebuild the village, although Kuma does not rule out the possibility that Mogra has survived, Renzo and Kenzo claim that they will defeat him together next time. Just then, Bron finds Garmadon's old helmet, and Min tries to go and return it to him, but Garmadon has already gone, leaving a farewell note where he asks her to take his helmet if she finds it. Garmadon contemplates the village for the last time before finally leaving to continue his journey, unaware of what fate awaited him in Ninjago City.
