Cloud Kingdom skiffs | Ghost ship |
The Ghost ship[1][2][3] was a boat that was used by the Ghost Warriors. Originally, it was one of the skiffs that were used by the Writers of Destiny.
History[]
Kingdom Come[]
While Morro retrieved the Sword of Sanctuary from its tower, Soul Archer and Bansha commandeered or were gifted one of the Cloud Kingdom's skiffs, turning it into the Ghost Ship. The two weapon masters would use the ship to rendezvous with Morro after he had claimed the Sword of Sanctuary.
After returning to Ninjago, the Ghost Warriors continued to use the ship as their method of transportation down the Wailing Alps, being reunited not long after with Ghoultar who, despite being a ghost and levitating, somehow managed to add enough weight on one end of the ship to slow it down, the peculiarity of this situation not being lost on Morro who angrily expressed his frustration towards Ghoultar. Thanks to Ghoultar's added weight, Kai was able to catch up with the ghost ship, using his Aeroblade to take down the ship's mast before boarding it to confront Morro for the Sword of Sanctuary. Although Morro was able to defeat and disarm Kai, Lloyd managed to overwhelm Morro's possession long enough to hand over the Sword of Sanctuary to Kai. As Kai escaped the ship through the use of Airjitzu, the ghost ship plummeted off a cliff, taking Morro with it.
Grave Danger[]
In preparation for their search for the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master, Morro, Soul Archer, and Bansha retrieved and repaired their ship before setting sail to its coordinates within the Endless Sea. While Morro descended into the tomb, the Weapon Masters stayed behind on the ship to await his return. As they waited, Soul Archer observed the landing of the Destiny's Bounty and urged Bansha to temper her desire to attack their enemies, noting that they could not afford to lose their ship in their current environment. By sunset, the Weapon Masters decided to launch a surprise attack on their enemies, with Soul Archer firing a rain of arrows while Bansha used her magic to remotely possess Misako. Unfortunately, with both Weapon Masters occupied and leaving no one to steer the ship, the ghost ship would strike against a set of jagged stones, running aground. Realizing their situation, the pair attempted to lift out their sinking vessel, but to no avail. Moments later, Morro would arrive at the rendezvous point with the Realm Crystal in tow, only to discover, to his frustration, that his allies had severely damaged their ship beyond repair. Irritated, Morro used the Realm Crystal allow himself and his allies to escape, leaving the Ghost Ship behind to sink into the sea.
Official description[]
As a port city, Stiix is often home to unusual ships. A green-glowing ghost vessel might stand out in some places, but not in a harbor that also plays host to Ronin’s flying R.E.X. submarine; the ninja’s Destiny’s Bounty; and the Sky Pirates’ mighty vessel, the Misfortune’s Keep![4]
