Gilba Thorns are rare thorns that come from the Sevateam plant, protected in the Mother Garden. The thorns contain acid-like properties.

The Final Game (flashback)[]
Bleckt sent the attacker bots to attack the Ninja, the Wolf Clan and Zur. One of the bots wielded a Gilba Thorn.
They Gather for the Feast[]
In the middle of the night, an attacker bot snuck into the ninja's quarters in the City of Temples, wielding a Gilba Thorn. The bot attempted to stab Lloyd with it but he dodged in time. The bot later used the same thorn in combat while Lloyd questioned the bot for information.
Later, Lloyd explained to the security bots that the attacker bot he had captured tried to stab him with the thorn. Nya asked Tox to help identify the thorn. She said it was a Gilba Thorn and explained how it originates in the Mother Garden. This led most of the competitors to assume Zant-Tanz, the leader of the Mother Garden, sent the attacker bots. Zant-Tanz exiled himself voluntarily due to the ordeal as he believed it would comfort the people.
