Kai is the Elemental Master of Fire. You are the Elemental Master of Heat. Fire and Heat go together, but are separate things.”

Heat is an Elemental Power used by Wyldfyre. It is generally associated with orange, fire engine red, and blue.

Users' abilities[]

HeatFlameWall

Wyldfyre creating walls of flames using Heat to trap Cinder.

  • Calokinesis - The user can create, shape, and manipulate heat. It can likely be used to control plasma mostly to trap opponents and create plasma balls and constructs (bombs, whips, etc). Additionally, the user can control the temperature of the heat they release, allowing them to raise or reduce it at will and possibly use it to resist the cold and gas.
    • Pyrokinesis - The user can use heat to manipulate and generate fire.
      • Azure-Pyrokinesis - The user can generate and manipulate blue fire, which is hotter than orange/yellow flames.
      • Pyrokinetic Wall Creation - The user can raise walls made of flame.
      • Pyrokinetic Ball Projection - The user can attack with fireballs when hitting a single target.
      • Pyrokinetic Blast - The user can release fire over a specific target area, causing great damage and destruction.
      • Pyrokinetic Flight - The user can fly/propel themselves up or forward using flames.[1]
    • Calokinetic Attacks - The user can attack with heat.
      • Calokinetic Blasts - The user can release heat energy over a specific target area, causing great damage and/or delivering great shockwaves of pure force.
      • Calokinetic Wave Emission - The user can create waves of heat over a specific area as a shield or an attack.
      • Calokinetic Beam Emission - The user can release beams of heat.
      • Calokinetic Bomb Generation - The user can create and launch bombs of heat to release it over a specific target as seen in "The Battle of the Second Monastery".
      • Calokinetic Vortex Creation - The user can create spirals and/or vortexes of heat over a specific area as seen in "Mindless Beasts" when Wyldfyre spun around with her flames to create a spiral against Lloyd.
    • Fire/Heat Resistance - The user is possibly resistant to fire and heat.
    • Burning/Melting - The user can produce enough heat to burn/melt objects.
    • Calokinetic Constructs - The user can create objects out of heat as seen when Wyldfyre created a golf club with her flames while playing Boulder Golf in "The Shape of Motion."

Trivia[]

  • Heat is similar to another Elemental Power, Fire, leading to frequent confusions with the two despite being distinct elements. The ninja's misidentification of Wyldfyre as a Fire Elemental, solely based on her ability to project flames, marks the second instance of their confusion regarding the identity of a Fire Elemental Master, other than Kai. In Tournament of Elements, Skylor was also initially mistaken for a Fire Elemental by the ninja until Garmadon revealed her element to be Amber.
  • In "The Power Within," it was observed that Heat is not as strong as Fire. This was demonstrated when Wyldfyre shot Heat at some cans, causing it to melt. This indicates that Heat had a minimum temperature of 660 degrees, which is the melting point of a can. On the other hand, when Kai threw a fireball with Fire at his cans, they completely turned to ash. This suggests that his fireball had a minimum temperature of 2000 degrees, which is the temperature required for a can to turn into an ash-like consistency.
    • However, in real life, blue fire is hotter than orange fire.
  • It is implied that Heat as an element already existed before the Merge, as Rontu already knew about the element and its similarities with Fire in "The Spell at the Waterfall."
