Hiroshi's Labyrinth is a deadly maze of thick jungle on the island of Ninjago named after the explorer Hiroshi. In the heart of the labyrinth lies a beautiful oasis that is considered the jewel of the labyrinth and a safe haven for those who unluckily entered the jungle.
It used to hold a stronghold that is used for guarding the most sacred and powerful artifacts in Ninjago, such as the Realm Crystal. It is an incredibly safe place, as its winding trails make it difficult to locate. Artifacts from the labyrinth are now relocated to Borg Tower due to higher security.
History[]
Blackout[]
Master Garmadon and his son, Lloyd, began making their way to Hiroshi's Labyrinth, knowing that not even the Nindroids would dare follow them into its thick borders.
The Curse of the Golden Master[]
Garmadon and Lloyd arrive in the Labyrinth and eventually discover the jewel of the maze. However, this peaceful moment is interrupted by Techno Wu arriving on a Hover-Hunter. Lloyd flees from the maze on his bike and eventually escapes the maze.
Shadow of Ronin (non-canon)[]
The labyrinth also contains the Test of Time, which contains doors that bring visitors to alternate timelines. Making it through the Trial of Time leads them to the Fulcrum Chamber, a chamber which used to hold the Primal Fulcrum.
The ninja went to the labyrinth and made it through the Test of Time, which brought them to the Fulcrum Chamber.
After Season 5[]
At some point after the defeat of The Preeminent, the Realm Crystal, along with the Sword of Sanctuary, were entrusted to Cyrus Borg who developed a stronghold inside the maze to keep them safe, which was guarded by a squad of Nindroids.
In Search of Adventures (video)[]
Clutch Powers went to the labyrinth to get the Realm Crystal. Breaking into the stronghold, the explorer complained about how current boobytraps are way worse that the ancient ones, because the ancient ones are still working after thousands of years. However, he was proven wrong when he was forced to run from the Nindroid Sentries guarding that crystal. Letar, Clutch still stated that the "expedition" ended successfully because it confirmed that Realm Crystal is actually located in the stronghold.
Public Enemy Number One[]
Seeking to regain his old crew, Nadakhan traveled to the Labyrinth in order to retrieve the Realm Crystal.
At some point after this, the artifacts located at Hiroshi's Labyrinth were moved to the Borg Tower vaults for better security.[1]
Into the Dark[]
Vania asks the ninja if they really have been to Hiroshi's Labyrinth, and Zane says that they have.

The oasis features dramatic waterfalls, fields of red brush and cherry trees. The labyrinth lies between NINJAGO City and the Mountains of Impossible Height.
