The Hypnobrai are the blue and silver spectacled cobra-themed tribe of the Serpentine, that have the ability to hypnotize people with eye contact. They are the cobras of the Serpentine.
Distinguishing features
- The generals and warriors have a cobra shaped head.
- The head mold of their Scouts and Soldiers are the same as the ones of the Venomari.
- Their colors are mainly blue and yellow.
Power
The Hypnobrai have the power of hypnotism. They stare at the victim, and if the victim happens to look their way, they are placed under their control. It has been demonstrated that the Hypnobrai can instead plant post-hypnotic commands, turning the victim into a sleeper agent as Skales did with Cole. The Hypnobrai Snake Staff has anti-venom that will undo the hypnotic spell. They have a protective second eyelid over their eyes, for when they are not hypnotizing someone.
How to defeat them
You can only beat them by finding a way to avoid their stare.
Dont look at them!
Tomb
The Hypnobrai tomb is what we see the most. It is in the Frozen Wasteland, and the inside of the tomb is entirely made of ice.

Notes
- The Hypnobrai were the first snake tribe to appear in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.
- A rebellion took place in Episode 2: Home. Skales and Slithraa fought in the Slither Pit, not only for the Snake Staff, but for position of General as well. Skales won, and that indicated that Slithraa is no longer the General for the Hypnobrai.
- Their name is derived from the word "Hypnosis," due to it being their main trait. It may also stem from cobra, which they resemble, such that the name comes from Hypnobra plus the suffix -ai.
- The head mold of their Scouts and Soldiers are the same as the ones of the Venomari.
- Their main colors are gray, blue, and yellow.
- Their Ninjago element is Ice, as evidence by being locked in an icy tomb, as well as being the Hypnobrai most dominant element in the spinjitzu card game.
- The scouts' and the soldiers' head molds are the same as The Venomari's.
