The Ignacian Villagers are the citizens of Ignacia.
History[]
The Challenge of Samukai (non-canon)[]
When Skulkin attacked the village to steal the map of the Golden Weapons from the Four Weapons Blacksmith, they also attacked some panicking villagers and retreated after stealing the map and capturing Kai's sister.
Mask of the Sensei[]
Following the Search for the Golden Weapons, a villager ran to Four Weapons in search of Kai and Nya's help, alerting them that an old man had been run over by an ox-cart. The villager then led the siblings down to the village's entrance, where the elderly man was being brought in on a stretcher.
Several days later, the villagers gathered together in the center of Ignacia to protest about the old man, who had since been identified as the Ninja's Sensei Wu, complaining that although they had once hailed him as a hero, his recent actions have shown he is nothing more than a bandit and a tyrant. The villagers' tones however would immediately turn after "Wu" promised to bestow great treasures upon the villagers and to make Ignacia the capital of his empire once he had conquered Ninjago. "You will live like kings...if you serve me." the false Wu had insisted. Believing in the false Wu's promises, the villagers immediately began to fortify the village and enacting his orders, including the establishment of a tax for all who sought to enter.
Sometime later, Nya returned to Ignacia with a special gong, one that replayed anything heard by a person loved by the striker of the gong. As she struck the gong for all to hear, the villagers realized that they had been deceived by an imposter and began to demilitarize their village, restoring it to its former status.

Trivia[]
- It is unclear if Kai and Nya's family is (was in the case of Kai and Nya) neccessarily part of the group, as not all residence of a village identify as a villager, and the Four Weapons Blacksmith is located further away from the rest of the buildings.
- It is also unclear if Mrs. Grumbmiller, Kai and Nya's babysitter, was one of the villagers.
