These are the relationships of ninja, bounty hunter, and the Elemental Master of Lightning, Jay.
Family[]
His mother[]
Jay’s relationship with his mother is unknown due to the fact she left him at the Junkyard when he was young.
In the "Quest for the Lost Powers", it is revealed that after losing his powers to stop the Crystal King, Jay felt a hole in his heart due to feeling he lost a connection to his mother and wondered if she left him was a good reason or if there was a reason at all.
Cliff Gordon[]
Cliff Gordon's shrine of his son, Jay.
Jay was a big fan of Cliff Gordon ever since he was a kid. In Season 6, Jay had learned that he was adopted and that Cliff is his real father, which left him very shocked and excited at the thought. To remember his son he never knew, Cliff kept a shrine up with Jay's later life as a ninja, collecting many pictures of Jay, but he chose not to introduce himself to his son. Despite this, the shrine to Jay does indicate that Cliff was proud of him, despite not meeting him.
In "The Way Back", Jay reveals that he considers Ed to be his 'real dad' due to having raised him, although he does previously acknowledge Cliff is his biological father.
After Nadakhan was defeated, all of the wishes have been undone and Jay has not received his inheritance yet.
It is also revealed that Jay has accepted Cliff was his father, as he related to Unagami on being adopted after the latter told him he was abandoned.
Ed[]
Jay and his adoptive father
Ed is Jay's adoptive dad. Jay is very close to his adoptive father and has inherited his habit of inventing things. In Season 6, when Jay made a wish to Nadakhan he received a letter saying his father passed away and he has inherited his fortune. Immediately, Jay rushed to his parent's home where he called out for his father only for Ed to come out alive and well. Jay was relieved at the news but questioned the contents of the letter; Ed and his wife decided it was time to tell Jay the truth and inform him that he was adopted.
Edna[]
- “So, you promise to come to the junkyard to visit your mother and father?”
- “Yes, I promise! But only if you leave. I don't want you to get hurt.”
— Edna and Jay, "Snakebit"
Edna is Jay's adoptive mom. Although he gets annoyed when she tells his friends about their Junkyard, he cares about her very much. Their bond grew stronger at the end of "Snakebit" when Jay invited both his parents to the Destiny's Bounty whenever they want to visit.
Love Interest[]
Nya (formerly)[]
Jay and Nya: Yin and Yang
Nya is Jay's ex-girlfriend. In the beginning, they barely spoke to one another, but Jay started to develop feelings for her. While she did not return his feelings at first, they grew closer and starting dating, being shown to be happy with each other, though as of "The Surge," Nya had spoken to Jay about boundaries. The two reached a rough patch in Season 3 when Nya started developing affections for Cole as a result of the Perfect Match Machine, causing a rivalry between them which continued in Season 4 where all three make up.
In Season 5, Jay views his future reflection in the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master, which reveals that he and Nya will end up together sometime in the future. This rekindles his feelings for her.
In Season 6, Jay attempts to fulfill his future reflection by using his wishes to try and impress Nya, which only ends up angering her. By the end of "Wishmasters," they end up being the only remaining ninja, and thus Nya had no choice but to put up with him. During "The Last Resort," Nya reveals to Jay that she also saw her future with him, and confirms that he is the one for her before pushing him through the Traveler's Tea portal. During the finale, Nya dies, and Jay uses his last wish to erase the events of the season, with only them remembering the events. They have a moment on the rooftop, which is broadcasted all over Ninjago as the episode ends.
In Season 7, Jay and Nya are still in a relationship. In "The Hatching," Jay consoles Nya when she feels conflicted about her identity as Samurai X and the Water Ninja. In "Lost in Time," Jay shouts for Nya after she goes into the time portal with Kai and Master Wu. He is delighted when she returns, and joins the group hug with her family.
Throughout Season 8, Jay and Nya interact a lot. When the ninja were celebrating in "True Potential," Jay picks Nya up and spins her around during the chorus of The Weekend Whip. In "Big Trouble, Little Ninjago," Jay goes to fight the Colossus while Nya looks after Lloyd. They do not see each other until the end of Season 9, as Jay is teleported to the Realm of Oni and Dragons at the end of Season 8 while Nya remains in Ninjago.
When Jay returns to Ninjago with the other Marooned Ninja in "Green Destiny," he is delighted to hear that Nya is okay and quickly follows Zane to help her, Lloyd, and Dareth. They have a moment of re-connection with the others before going off to stop the Colossus. During the celebration at the end, Nya leans on Jay, and they hold hands.
Jay and Nya
Throughout Season 10: March of the Oni, Jay attempts to ask Nya to be his Yang. He is seen practicing his speech in "The Darkness Comes," and attempts to ask the question in "Into the Breach," but is spooked by Garmadon. He finally pops the question in "Endings" before fighting the Oni one last time. Nya accepts and gives her half of the medallion while putting the other half on his chest for the rest of the episode.
Nya says goodbye to Jay
Throughout Seabound, Jay continuously assures Nya that she will find a way to regain control of her powers. He also shows the most worry of the team when Nya and Maya are captured by Kalmaar, which is what inspired him to use his Lightning to re power the Hydro Bounty despite this putting his life at risk. In the season finale, Nya merges with the Endless Sea to defeat Wojira and save his life, she leaves her fellow ninja to become apart of the ocean. Her departure hit Jay the hardest and sent him into a state of depression.
Despite knowing that he and the guys went against the law to return Nya to normal, Jay felt glad that they were able to bring his girlfriend back.
An amnesiac Jay reunites with Nya.
When The Merge occurred, Jay and Nya end up separated for years with Nya expressing her concern for him. When she eventually reunited with him at the Tournament of the Sources, Jay had no memory of her and of being a ninja, treating her like a complete stranger. After losing to her and becoming corrupted by the nature of Shatterspin, Nya tries to express her love to him, but he disdains and expresses hatred, effectively dumping her at the same time. After his defeat, Ras sent Jay away, resulting in Nya being hurt. After losing to Nokt, she then decides to go search for him in order to get him to remember her and his family.
Jay reunited with Nya during the battle with Thunderfang, albeit in disguise, due to becoming a bounty hunter. During the battle, Jay injured his leg. After initially refusing, Jay eventually agreed to go back to the monastery with Nya to recover from his injury. While working together to find Arin's parents, Nya attempted to get Jay to remember their relationship, only to find he only cares for his payment. He was he even grossed out when Lloyd offered him and Nya to pretend to be married for their mission in finding Arin's parents, upsetting Nya. Later, he expressed that romantic relationships make no sense to him, which hurt Nya's heart. In fact, due to Nya's stubbornness and insisting that he's a ninja only added fuel to the fire that Jay believes she is lying to him. After Jay left, Nya's words stuck with him, and he came to save her from Zarkt. After he saved her, he admitted that being with her makes him want to be a better person, leading her to hug him, which he seemingly accepted.

Afterward, Jay is happy to see Wu is back to normal and he has Jay attend the celebration of the ninja being hailed as heroes.
An amnesiac Jay reunites with Wu.
Years after The Merge, Wu in the form of Sprite reunited with Jay, who lost his memories. Jay had started working for The Administration and Wu tried to get Jay to regain his memories by showing him a reflection in his old ninja suit, with Jay accidentally activating his lightning powers.
Ras (formerly)[]
- “I didn't rescue you so you could disappoint me, Jay. I do not tolerate failure!”
- “I'm sorry, Lord Ras.”
- “Sorry is not good enough.”
— Ras and Jay, following the latter's loss., "Inside the Maze"
Ras rebuking Jay for his failure.
Ras was Jay's temporary master while the latter was suffering from amnesia. Upon finding him after he left the Administration, Ras recruited Jay, deceiving him in believing that he used to be a great warrior who serve him and the Ninja are his enemies as well as enter him in the Tournament of the Sources. Jay appeared to shared information of his former job as the manager of Realm Reassignment to Ras. When he lost to Nya, Ras banished Jay from the Wolf Clan and sent him away, leaving him saddened as he left into unknown parts.

Friends[]
Kai[]
- “Jay, that was amazing! Forget everything I used to say about you being the worst Ninja.”
- “You used to say what?!”
— Kai and Jay, "Chaos Reigns"
Jay and Kai
They had not interacted a lot in the series but they cared deeply about each other and had gotten closer as the series went on.
At first, Kai didn't like the thought of Jay dating his sister due to his overprotective nature but soon came around to the idea.
In later seasons, they got along even if their personalities contrasted with the others. Jay was even amused by Kai being interested in Skylor.
During Season 9, Jay's accepting of being stranded in the Realm of Oni and Dragons disturbed and annoyed Kai. After Jay became himself again, Kai was relieved.
In season 10, Kai helped Jay constantly on trying to ask Nya to be his Yang throughout the season, showing that he has gotten comfortable with the two being a pair and that he wants the relationship to be official. In "Endings" Kai, along with the rest of the ninja, minus Nya, are upset with Jay about his choice of timing for Nya to be his Yang when they are fighting the Oni. Nevertheless, he was happy for them when she said yes and they won the fight.
In Season 11, Kai lost his powers and couldn't fight off Aspheera's fire cobras, Jay then saved him. At the end of the series Kai got his powers back and defeated Boreal, and Jay was happy for him.
In Season 12: Prime Empire, Jay was devastated when Kai, along with Cole, gave up their last life to allow the rest of the team to win the Speedway Five-Billion.
Jay and Kai fighting alongside with each other.
In Season 15: Crystalized from, "Farewell the Sea" - "A Painful Promise" Jay and Kai were the ones who were most affected by Nya's departure which connected them. The two often get into fights. In "The Council of the Crystal King", after Zane tracked Lloyd stopping near the same location the group had investigated earlier in the abandoned N line. Kai realized Jay was right about there being a secret entrance and found it crazy that Jay being right all the time, much to Jay's offense. Their relationship had improved as the series went on in, "Darkness Within" Kai saved Jay from being crushed and in "Dragon Form" Jay saved Kai from Pythor.
When The Merge occurred, Jay was separated from his friends, with Kai being worried for him and took the Bounty to find Jay and the others. However Kai's efforts were halt due to being trapped in Nether-Space and hearing from Nya that Jay lost his memory. After Kai got out he decided to help Nya on her quest on bringing Jay back.
In "The Shatter Dragon", Kai was happy when he and the other accidentally stumbled onto Jay and wasn't annoyed when Jay broke his leg. Kai made an attempt to help Jay remember who he is but eventually quitted because of his new rudeness from shattering his goodness.
In "When Doves Cry", Kai heard from Sora and Wyldfyre that Jay bailed and called him a jerk.
In "Chaos Reigns", after Kai saw Jay defeat Zarkt, Kai (forgetting Jay still hasn't recovered his memory) tells Jay he was awesome and takes back everything he said of Jay being the worst Ninja, which confused Jay and Kai blamed it on Cole.
Cole (formerly)[]
Jay and Cole
They are good friends until Season 3 when Nya started developing feelings for Cole which initiated a rivalry between the two which continued in season 4. The two reconcile their friendship during their fight on Chen's Island and Cole even sacrificed himself so that Jay could win the battle.
In Season 6, it is mentioned "On a Wish and a Prayer," that despite the previous rift between them that Cole considers Jay to be his best friend. In "Day of the Departed," when Cole was feared lost after facing Yang, Jay broke down and stated he'd give up anything to have Cole back which the latter overheard before revealing himself. Jay and the others were relieved that Cole was safe and human again.
During Season 9, Jay's accepting of being stranded in the Realm of Oni and Dragons disturbed Cole. After Jay became himself again, Cole was relieved.
In Season 12, Jay was devastated when Cole, along with Kai, gave up their last life to allow the rest of the team to win the Speedway Five-Billion. However, he was relieved by their survival after they were freed.
When The Merge occurred, the two friends were separated with Cole, expressing a worried face when Nya mentions Jay as one of the members they didn't find. Cole fondly remembers one of their arguments that resulted in a noodle bowl crack which made him also wonder where Jay ended up after the Merge. A year later Cole managed to reunite with him but found out that Jay had lost his memories and was working with their enemy Ras.
Cole and Jay reunited once again during a party to celebrate the defeat of Thunderfang, however Jay still had no memory of his former best friend. Cole attempted to help Jay recover his memories but eventually gave up due to Jay's newfound rudeness from shattering his goodness.
Zane (formerly)[]
Jay and Zane
Prior to Kai joining the team, it is implied that Zane and Jay were close with Jay giving Zane tips of his sense of humor. Like all the other ninja he thought Zane was weird but when finding out that Zane was a Nindroid, he and the others supported and accepted their friend. They grew closer throughout the series, with Jay being distraught by Zane's death after he sacrificed himself to defeat the Overlord.
In Season 4, Jay was looking at his portrait of his friends in sadness and reflecting on his time together with Zane. When Lloyd suggested replacing Zane, Jay heavily protested against the decision to do so but was shocked to learn that his friend was still alive and traveled to Chen's Island to find him. While imprisoned by Chen, Jay was reunited with Zane and was elated to see his friend again and complimented his new form.
As the series goes on they still get along, in season 5 where Jay tried to fix Zane's malfunctioning voice and modifying it for comical purposes.
In later seasons, they get along even if their personalities contrast with the others. Zane appears to take note of Jay's habits as he knew Nadakhan visited him and saw that he was acting out of the ordinary.
During Season 9, Jay's accepting of being stranded in the Realm of Oni and Dragons disturbed Zane. After Jay became himself again, Zane was relieved and noted this to Kai.
During Season 11, they still get along and worked together against Aspheera and her Pyro Viper army. He was also distraught when it looked like Zane was killed but was relieved to hear that Zane's alive and only banished to the Never-Realm, so he and the others went there to save him.
During "Awakenings," Jay realizes that Zane is the Ice Emperor after he was corrupted by the scroll. After recalling his true identity, Zane finally remembers Jay and the happy moments of them together. He then snaps out of his delirium enough to help his friends. When returning home, he was met with a big hug.
When The Merge occurred, Jay was separated from Zane. After being released from his stasis pod, Zane tried to find him by trying to operate the Portal gate in the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Zane eventually manage to reunite with Jay during the Tournament of Sources where he was shocked to find out that Jay was working with the Wolf Clan.
Lloyd (formerly)[]
Jay and Lloyd
Lloyd and Jay were good friends. They don't talk much, but as the series goes on, they grew closer.
In Season 3, Lloyd introduced Jay to Fritz Donnegan and got him hooked on the character.
In season four, Jay denied Lloyd's offer to go back to the team but still went along with meeting him. Jay had faith in Lloyd as he believed the latter would save him and the others from Chen after they were captured. In Season 5, when Lloyd got possessed by Morro, Jay and the other ninja will do everything they can to get their friend back.
In Season 7, Jay was the first ninja decide to make Lloyd their master after Wu is lost in time with the Time Twins.
In Season 8, Lloyd and Jay hear about the history of the Realm of Oni and Dragons from Mystake. Jay realizes that Lloyd is part Oni and Dragon and is the only ninja besides Lloyd to know about that. When Mystake tells Lloyd that the Oni Masks can bring his father back from the dead without any good left in him, he has a sad look on his face, and Jay tries to comfort him by putting his hand on his shoulder.
In "Game of Masks", it is shown that Lloyd trusts Jay enough to accuse Harumi of being the Quiet One, as Harumi knew of Lloyd's Oni heritage, which she could only know if Jay had told her or if she was the Quiet One.
During Season 9, they are mostly separated since Jay was in the Realm of Oni and Dragons and Lloyd was in Ninjago.
In "How to Build a Dragon," Jay hears Lloyd's voice on a dragon hunter's radio and worried for his friend.
As of "Green Destiny," Jay was reunited with his friend and gladly fought off the Sons of Garmadon with his aid. Jay was happy to see Lloyd defeated his father and regained his powers as a result.
When the Merge occurred, Jay and Lloyd were separated with Lloyd being worried about him. Lloyd appeared to develop a low opinion on Jay, as he viewed Jay as the worst ninja student, recalling how Jay once destroyed the South Wing during his training. When Lloyd reunited with Nya, he shook his head when she asked if Jay happened to be with him. But he assured her that Jay was still out there somewhere. Lloyd managed to reunite with Jay during the Tournament of Sources where he was shocked that Jay was working with Ras and had lost his memory.
Lloyd manage to reunite with Jay during a battle with Thunderfang and enlist him to help find Arin's parents. Back at the Monastery, Jay’s rude behavior and shattered soul frustrated Lloyd, who admitted he only partly trusted him after everything that happened. Lloyd also found himself irritated by Jay’s naïve trust in the Administration Agents—especially given that Lloyd and the others had made similar mistakes before (like Zane trusting Vex immediately after his memory was wiped). It is also implied Lloyd had no intention to keep his word on doubling what his client (unknown to him was Zeatrix) was paying Jay and just hoped Jay's memory will come back on it own.
Echo Zane[]
Jay and Echo Zane
Echo Zane is Zane's brother who Jay met during his war with Nadakhan. Echo Zane helped prepare and build several traps for the incoming enemies. Later Echo Zane was one of Jay's members in the Ninja Replacements.
Although their adventure was erased, Jay eventually reunited with Echo Zane and told him about their adventure. Jay inspired Echo Zane to go out and become a hero Jay no longer was. Echo Zane then brought Tai-D with him and later was joined by the Falcon on his journey.
Scott[]
Jay and Scott
Scott is a person that Jay met at Prime Empire. After Scott helped Jay from a group of Red Visors, he introduced himself and offered his friendship, as well as showing him his hidden garage.
Later, when the Red Visors showed up at Scott's garage and the latter died to allow the ninja to escape, Jay was upset to see his friend get cubed as a result.
Due to him swaying Unagami, Scott was released from Prime Empire along with every other player.
PoulErik[]
- “Jay! We have missed you so much, Jay! It is so boring here without you. Uh, no offense.”
- “I missed you too! I mean, both- the both of you.”
— PoulErik and Jay, "The Storm Amulet"
PoulErik hugging Jay
Jay and PoulErik appear to be on friendly terms. They first met when PoulErik brought food to Jay and cared for him before he was sacrificed by Wojira. He told Jay to smile and enjoy it because he was their Gift. When Jay left the Island of the Keepers, PoulErik felt it was boring without him, and when Jay came back, he hugged him immediately.
Administration Agents (formerly)[]
Jay with subagent, Prentis
Following the events of the Merge, Jay became separated from the other ninja and experienced a loss of memories. He suddenly found himself in the Administration, where he eventually became one of the Administration Agents and took on the role of managing the Department of Reassignment. After Arin posed some questions and quickly departed, Prentis reached out to Jay. When Jay arrived, he inquired about the situation at hand. Prentis informed him that Arin had entered the Department of Reassignment, asked some questions, and promptly left. Jay wondered if Arin needed realm reassignment, but Prentis assured him that it was not necessary. Realizing that he was wasting his time, Jay excused himself, pretending to have paperwork to file when in reality, he was returning to play a video game.
A year later, Jay, alongside other agents, went on a mission to capture Zane. However, after being deceived by Ras, Jay resigned from the Administration. Jay became on their wanted list for leaving his post.
Wolf Clan (formerly)[]
When Jay worked under Ras, he likely knew several members of the Wolf Clan. Jordana (really Rox possessing her) and Cinder accompanied Jay to the arena where he faced off against Nya. Nokt appears to have met Jay as well, which he mocked Nya over her ex-boyfriend’s amnesia state.
Fedulian[]
After Jay left the Wolf Clan, he began to work as a bounty hunter where he frequently work for Fedulian like retrieving an Oni chalice. Fedulian was grateful for Jay's service and often payed him, although he was annoyed that Jay often came to him during his work hours and left a golden shuriken at his door. Fedulian also acted as an informant for Jay as he helped him meet with Zeatrix.
Alfonzo Frohicky[]
Even before the Merge, Alfonzo Frohicky hear numerous tales about the ninja, including Jay. He meet Jay in "The Shatter Dragon", where Jay suffered from memory loss and a broken leg was injured forcing him to stay at the Monastery. In "The Hollow Ones", Alfronzo was annoyed by Jay's rudeness to his drinks and wished for him to leave as soon as he is healed. It's unknown if the Ninja told Alfronzo that Jay had shattered his goodness.
Wyldfyre (formerly)[]
One of the new members of the Ninja team, Wyldfyre and Jay didn't meet until the Tournament of the Sources. Wyldfyre only heard of him through the other Ninja. She help Nya and Kai search for him in "The Missing." Wyldfyre then joined Jay on their way to the Realm of Lee where Jay was annoyed by Wyldfyre's crazy driving skills and her clumsiness of triggering alarms in the Administration. When Jay insulted Roby, Wyldfyre insulted his bad breath which almost resulted in a fight if Lloyd didn't stop them.
Despite this, The two agree on aggressive tactics to infiltrate The Administration but Lloyd rejected the ideas because it wasn't the ninja way. Both also agreed not to free Bleckt but for different reasons as Jay was unsure to trust Bleckt because his knowledge could trigger booby traps and Wyldfyre didn't want to free him because of his treachery against Roby.
Neutral[]
Arin[]
Arin was a fan of the Ninja in his youth, he even had a poster of Jay in his bedroom and knew of his adventures like Prime Empire.
When Arin infiltrated the Administration with Sora to find records of his parents, the records were left unfinished when Jay escaped from there. Later during the Tournament of the Sources, when he was shocked that Jay is with the Wolf Clan and told Nya about what happened to him during the Merge, he found out that Jay is Agent Walker and was worried about him shattering his goodness with the Wolf Mask when he was about to perform Shatterspin. After Jay left the City of Temples, he thought that he might have the records to help him find his parents. It’s unknown how he feels about him after he left the Ninja.
After Jay became a bounty hunter, he was after Ras who Zeatrix placed a bounty on and Arin fought him without even knowing who he really was. At first Jay only went after Ras but when Arin intervened too much Jay decided to directly fight him, and had the upper hand if Sora didn't intervene. After Thunderfang’s defeat, Jay revealed he knew the truth of where Arin’s parents were reassigned.
After recovering Arin's parents, Jay's rude attitude annoyed Arin greatly. Arin was also unconcern of Jay, when Wyldfyre turned the ship, and caused Jay to almost fall off but ended up hitting his head. But Arin did found out that Jay didn't unshatter his goodness or recover his memories.
Enemies[]
Captain Soto (temporary ally; in an alternate timeline)[]
Soto is one of the Ninja's adversaries.
During Skybound, he was hostile to them; particularly Jay who he refers to as "the whiny sniveling blue pajama man who says everything obvious." but Soto agreed to help them defeat Nadakhan if they helped him escape. Jay recruited him to help the Ninja Replacements in the battle against the Sky Pirates. However, due to Jay's final wish, Soto remained imprisoned in the current timeline with his memory erased.
Clouse[]
- “Magic’s for wussies. I stick to good old nuts and bolts with a little ingenuity.”
- “You want ingenuity? Try this on for size!”
— Clouse and Jay, “Spellbound”
Jay fighting off Clouse.
Clouse is one of Jay’s enemies.
Clouse was in on Chen's plot to steal their powers for the transformation spell, though hid this from his foes. During the tournament, Clouse would attempt to sabotage the ninja but was prevented either from interference by Garmadon or orders from Chen. He also prevented a captive Zane from breaking out, as he knew the ninja were there for him. Clouse was aware they spied on the ritual to drain the Elemental Masters, though was prevented from taking action. However, he took satisfaction when Chen turned the ninja against each other or turn their growing allies on one another. Clouse detested the ninja, notably Lloyd, who was Garmadon's son. Clouse also fought Nya (not a ninja yet) for the spell after she infiltrated the palace.
After Chen gave up his ruse, Clouse took pleasure in hunting them before he fought and defeated Jay who was captured when Clouse hit the self-destruct mechanism on his mech.
After being banished to the Cursed Realm, Clouse attempted to find the Teapot of Tyrahn. Although Clouse ended up being trapped in the Djinn Blade, he attempted to trap Jay for all eternity when Jay was about leave the Djinn Blade with his friends, but Jay manage to defeat him and leave Clouse trapped for all eternity.
Nadakhan[]
Jay and Nadakhan
Nadakhan was one of Jay's adversaries and Jay's only archenemy.
Before meeting him, Nadakhan impersonated Jay and the other ninja by framing them for crimes they didn't commit and was pleased to hear they were locked away in Kryptarium Prison. He gained a vendetta against them when learning of the destruction of his world, which occurred because of the ninja's victory over The Preeminent and the destruction the Cursed Realm (the twin realm of his).
After the ninja escaped, Nadakhan played on Jay's love for Nya by telling him of his true heritage and having his crew torture him once he was captured. He even revealed his endgame to Jay about marrying Nya. However, none of his tactics worked with him being unable to get him to break. Jay soon rallied the Ninja Replacements to defeat Nadakhan.
After Nadakhan was poisoned, Jay couldn't be relieved since Delara (who possessed Nya) took the shot as well. With Nya dying in Jay's arms, Jay used his final wish to undo Nya's death and that Clouse hadn't freed the Djinn. Because his wish wasn't selfish, the weakened Nadakhan granted it. By doing this, Jay re-imprisoned Nadakhan in his teapot. Jay along with Nya and Wu are the only ones to recall Nadakhan.
Sky Pirates[]
The Sky Pirates were one of Jay's adversaries. When Jay was imprisoned on the Misfortune's Keep, the crew tried to help Nadakhan break Jay with Monkey Wretch, Doubloon, and Dogshank fighting him in Scrap and Tap. Flintlocke and Clancee even created a ruse to trick Jay. Although despite, this the crew took into account when Jay warned them of the possibility of Nadakhan's betrayal. Eventually the crew refused to tell Nadakhan of the Tiger Widow venom and Clancee hiding it in the Misfortune's Keep. After Nadakhan banished Clancee, Monkey Wretch, and Doubloon, Dogshank and Flintlocke realized Jay was correct and help him stop Nadakhan. Although their alliance was erased due to Jay's final wish.
After arriving on the Dark Island, Jay fought the Sky Pirates again and took payback for making him clean their ship Misfortune's Keep. Although he eventually agree to let them continue living on the Dark Island in return they never return to Ninjago.
Unagami (formerly)[]
Jay and Unagami
During "Game Over," Jay states he understood Unagami wasn't really evil. He tricks the latter into following him, so that he can reconcile with his creator, Milton Dyer. Jay is ultimately successful and his actions not only bring peace, but also allow the players to finally be free and give the characters in Prime Empire the chance to be real and start new lives.
Fugi-Dove (formerly)[]
An avian themed crook who claims himself to be Jay's nemesis, Fugi-Dove attempted to teach Jay some tricks of the criminal trade. Fugi-Dove even sacrifices himself so Jay and the others can get away from Hounddog McBrag.
After Fugi-Dove alongside other inmates like Ronin, Killow, and Ultra Violet escaped from Kryptarium Prison, they joined the Resistance. in which Jay was in and helped him and the other ninja in defeating the crystal army. After the Overlord was defeated, Fugi-Dove alongside other members of the Resistance helped the ninja rebuild the Monastery of Spinjitzu.
