Jungle School[]
Lloyd is making his plan to rescue the other Ninja from the Keepers. But is concerned about Twitchy Tim and how few combat skills he possesses, not to mention his patchy short-term memory. He takes Twitchy out to give him a crash course in being a ninja. He starts by taking him out into the jungle, getting him ready to move silently and camouflage. Lloyd shows Twitchy that putting some dirt and twigs can make him practically invisible. This works, as Twitchy quickly loses sight of him. Once Lloyd prepares to spread dirt on Twitchy, he’s already forgotten why he’s having it done.
They make their way through the jungle and find an abandoned village. Lloyd realizes this could be the perfect place to train Twitchy in some more ninja basics. They find some ropes suspended between two elevated platforms. Lloyd gets Twitchy to walk across the rope as an exercise of balance. Lloyd gets across with ease, but Twitchy doesn’t get far before falling to the ground. They find some pulley ropes. Lloyd says these can be used to quickly get up to a higher platform. He shows him the two steps; release the rope and hop off at the right moment. Twitchy nails the release of the rope but forgets what to do next and flies straight into the pulley system.
They find a bridge hanging above them, which Lloyd uses as an exercise to climb across the bottom of it. He shows hi the two steps; hold on with one hand and reach cross with the other, then repeat the process. Twitchy, once again, succeeds with the first step, but forgets the second. He continues to forget the second step, wearing Lloyd’s patience down. They later find wooden statue that resembles the Stone Guardians they encountered earlier. It, too, is alive and tries to attack them, but is carved into a tree trunk and can’t reach them. Lloyd sees this as the ideal sparring partner. He once agin shows the steps; charge, jump and attack. And once again, Twitchy nails the charge but forgets the next part, which leads to him getting bonked on the head by the statue. Lloyd, who’s patience is next to gone, tries to get Twitchy to pull his head in and remember the steps. He gives him one last reminder no gets him to do it one more time. He remembers to charge and jump, but completely forgets to attack. The statue whacks Twitchy once more, this time knocking off the platform.
Twitchy’s cries alert some nearby Keepers, who charge towards the abandoned village. Twitchy panics and asks what he should do. Lloyd opts to simply deal with them himself. He uses Spinjitzu to knock the three around. They realize they are overwhelmed and retreat to find reinforcements. Lloyd laughs at his victory and suggest to Twitchy that they follow the retreating Keepers back to their village in the hope that they’ll find their friends there. Twitchy asks if Lloyd could teach him some ninja basics before they leave, to which Lloyd responds with a simple ‘oh, brother…’
