Kethanol is a gas produced by mining in the Caves of Despair in Ninjago. It is extremely flammable and explosive.

History

The Crooked Path

Zane identified a smelly gas known as kethanol escaping from the basement of the Caves of Despair. Cole plugged the hole with a rock from which the gas escaped, which amplified the destruction tenfold, causing the explosion and destruction of caves within a ten mile radius.
