The Land of Lost Things is a desolate valley located in Imperium,[1] where discarded items and forgotten beings from the realms end up.
History[]
Background[]
The Land of Lost Things held a certain level of familiarity among the Imperians. While most knew about the existence of the valley, some dismissed it as nothing more than an urban legend. Long ago, the guardians of the yellow Dragon Core unfortunately lost the artifact. As a result, the core ended up at the Land of Lost Things, where it was stumbled upon by someone who used it for a machine located at the Rookery.[2]
Within the Advanced Systems Lab, the scientists discarded their failed experiments and outdated Imperium technology into the valley. Among the discarded creations was a magnetic organism named Sweeper, who was designed by Dr. LaRow to clean the Imperium Sewers. As Sweeper was abandoned, it began to gather any Imperium tech it could find, gradually forming a makeshift body of junk around itself. Sweeper adopted the name "The Hoarder."[2]
Cole was transported to the Land of Lost Things after the Merge. There, he encountered a group of runaways known as the Finders, who had become trapped in the valley after running away from home and being forgotten by society. Cole moved to the Rookery with the Finders, as the original owner had vacated the premises. To protect themselves from the Hoarder, they used the machine powered by the yellow Dragon Core.[2]
Following the Battle of the Second Monastery, Beatrix decided to demolish the Monastery of Imperium, causing the majority of its remains to be transported to the Land of Lost Things.[3]

Using a magic compass, Nya and Sora traveled to the Land of Lost Things in search of the yellow Dragon Core. Upon arrival, they found themselves bewildered by the surroundings of the valley. However, their attention was soon drawn to two children, Fritz and Spitz, whom they pursued in hopes of gaining insight into their whereabouts. Their pursuit was abruptly halted when they were confronted by Cole.
