"While we're stuck waiting, why don't you tell us who's really under there?"

“We have an insider, that can get us access to the broadcast tower tonight. If we can hack through the encryption, we can stream this to every screen in Imperium. That's why we think it's fate you've shown up here, now.”
Percival Tartigrade explaining his plan, "We Are All Dragons"

The Liberation of Imperium was an event in which the ninja, Rapton and the Imperium Teen Resistance Force conjured to expose Empress Beatrix for draining dragons of their energy.

History[]

Prelude[]

After the Battle of the Second Monastery, which all the dragons had escaped thanks to the ninja, hoping not to lose favor with the Imperians, Empress Beatrix claimed they were recaptured. However, some of the people, including the Imperium Teen Protection Force, discovered the deception, among other acts she did to gain her father's throne before her twin sister would, and begun forming a resistance before waiting for the ninja's return.

We Are All Dragons[]

While Zanth and Jiro dealt with Beatrix, which ended in their capture, the Resistance rendezvous underneath Imperium, where they discuss some minor circumstances that had led to their situation before Percival Tartigrade, having had a change of heart, shows footage of Beatrix inadvertently confessing to her crimes, which he hadn't had the chance to upload, until the ninja would arrive and plan to use the broadcast tower, helped by Rapton, to broadcast it.

While Arin, Sora, Riyu, and Percival deal with the broadcast, Kai and Wyldfyre would destroy the armory as a diversion for Lloyd, Zane, and Nya to get into the Advanced Systems Lab and grab the two Dragon Cores stolen from them. Despite Kai and Wyldfyre destroying the wrong place, a shoulder pad storage facility, the plan was a success as Arin, Sora, Riyu, Percival, and Rapton, despite minor setback from Dorama, managed to broadcast the incriminating footage, where the citizens start to oppose Beatrix. The icing on the cake was Sora's speech about how she was used for her skills and shunned by her refusal before ending her speech with "We are all dragons."

With the citizens dealing with the Claws, rescuing Zanth and Jiro in the process, Kai and Wyldfyre found and destroyed the armory, giving Lloyd, Zane, and Nya the chance to get to the lab. However, the disgraced Beatrix, with the two cores and another made by Jordana confronted them with her MergeQuake weapon.

The Power Within[]

Beatrix uses the MergeQuake weapon to open MergeQuake rifts, sending innocent citizens into them, including Kai, Wyldfyre, Riyu, Percival and Rapton. As it progresses, Sora runs into her parents, whose egotistic attitudes are preventing them from believing the truth about Beatrix, leading to her disowning them and unlocking her True Potential when she realized the ninja are her real family. With her powers, she disassembled the weapon and destroyed the artificial core before Arin sent her into a MergeQuake, where eventually, the MergeQuake Storm began.

Aftermath[]

With the Kingdom of Imperium now free of Beatrix's tyranny and the MergeQuake Storm thwarted, a few changes were made, including changing its name to New Imperium and plans of forming a council.
