The Liberation of Two Moon Village was an event in which the Two Moon villagers, with the help of Garmadon and the bears of Glimwillow Woods took back control of Two Moon Village from Lord Mogra and the Red Crows' oppression.

History[]

Having fled their home during its razing by the Red Crows, the elders of Two Moon Village, Renzo and Kenzo, the Two Moon Village Commandos, and villagers, Saeko and Min, worked together to formulate a plan to retake their home. Although they had nursed Garmadon back to health the night before by giving him the last of their Two Moon Tea, the group felt it would have been best to not include him in their planning, feeling that seeking his help is what led them to losing their home in the first place.

As Garmadon traveled alone, he encounted the bears of Glimwillow Woods, who had been driven out of their home as well by the Red Crows as the first step in the latter group's plans to conquer Ninjago. Having a change of heart, Garmadon sought out the group of villagers and allied them together alongside the bears. Together, the unified group of villagers and bears liberated Kuma from the rubble that Garmadon had buried her beneath several days prior and enlisted her assistance in the battle that was to come.

As the army arrived outside of Two Moon Village, Garmadon called out for Mogra to face him and Kuma made the first strike, destroying a fortification that Mogra was standing on. Infuriated, the warlord immediately called for his bikers to crush the insurrection, beginning the battle. As the fighting progressed, the tide slowly turned in favor of the villagers, with the Red Crows becoming increasingly desperate before one of their generals, Ultra Violet, ordered a full retreat. With his forces dwindling, Mogra furiously breathed fire on Kuma before being confronted by Garmadon. At first, the warlord mocked the former dark lord, reminding him of the outcome of their previous duel. In response, Garmadon opted to overload Mogra with Two Moon Tea rather than fight him physically. This however, backfired as the supercharged Mogra simply flew higher into the air before dive-bombing at the village below, intent on taking everyone, even his own forces, with him. As those below braced for their demise, Garmadon achieved his oni form and blasted Mogra with a large blast of Destruction, seemingly disintegrating the warlord and ending the battle, finally freeing Two Moon Village from the influence of the Red Crows.
